@brianstang08 Thanks but that was the 2 step, only 3800 rpm's. The rev limiter was set at 6800 rpms. I figured the title AND song for the video would let people know that it was a 2 step. I think someone else asked that before as well.lol

I'm Doin mine right now,, if Ur gonna get stage two's go with 4.10's UL b way happier. UL need springs, and get new lifters o sorry valve lash adjusters... and if u can afford it get new cam gears and chains with 90k i took my cover off with 100k and my left side chain stretched like 3 links o and headers r recommended im spending about 2 g with the tf setup about 200$ cheaper than comp hope this helps

hey man i love your mustang. i have a sct tune, new intake, 75mm trottle body, bassani o/r x pipe and super 40 flowmaster exhaust but i really want cams. think my car would be ok with stage 2 comp cams after i get my 3.73's put on? and i have almost 90k miles. do you know what else, if anything, i would have to replace when getting the cams? i appreciate your help very much man.

There are alot better cams for mod motors than comp 270's. Look around on forums. Depending on what your future goals are.

If you want off the shelf cams, I'd look into Hitech cams if you plan on keeping stock heads, or CMS. You'll need a tune

i read back and you said you got rid of the 2 step. what prob's were you havin? What SCT has it built in. i have a diablo and a xcal 3. i was looking into a 2 step, might help at the track...

most of the time it didn't work right, I'd think the Xcal 3 should have it. It'll be listed as a neutral rev limit.

I dunno, I had my entire motor built at once. I'd guess $500 for labor, depending on of you do springs. HiTechs don't require springs. Keep in mind that the cams will run you $600, if you have many miles, you should replaces the chains, tensoners, etc.

it lets you set a (launch) rpm, and it active when the clutch is engaged and the car isn't in motion. You had the gas to the floor and it won't go above the rpm that you set.

dude love the car and the sound, but yo meanyou just put AN aftermarket cam in there, right? cause thats just a gt and they have a 4.6l sohc (single overhead cam) the cobras are the dohc (dual over head cams)

Very nice video and quality. We have the same performance setup except the exhaust. I have hooker longtubes w/xpipe and bassani catback. Now, post some vids of the car running in motion...it sounds much sicker that way.
