  • That imposing, solitary, breathtaking beauty as wings traverse over the plain,

Enhanced by the glorious expansive melodic cadences in perfect refrain,

Give all who encountered this maestro’s artistry a genuine sense of emotion,

Which always enhances, increases the pleasure experienced beyond all proportion.

And though he is gone, his music lives on in our memories, always to treasure,

For which we give thanks to this Yorkshire lad whose genius has given such pleasure.

  • Soaring strings, mellifluous horns, John Barry, composer supreme,

Superimposed over African landscapes, almost a surrealist dream.

The backdrop of mountains with rivers cascading as, sparkling, they fall into space

Can almost bring tears to the eye while detecting those plaintive heartbreaking displays

Of glorious sweeping, towering arpeggios, descriptive perfection is heard

To compliment exquisite, vast panoramas, as if through the eye of a bird.

  • Powerful and elegant. Thrilling and breathtaking. Natural and man made beauty in unforgettable performances. Deserving of the high praise it still receives.

  • Such an experience... such a view...

  • Timeless... and my favorite actress is in the front seat!

  • Que instumento es el que suenaa?

  • Reminds me more...My times as a missionary in Tanzania, when I visited Karen's House in Kenya and remade the flight seen in this video with two friends

  • Majestic. Reminds me of flying the Cirrus in Ethiopia. The only memories are a couple of pictures of the Blue Nile falls. Ethiopian ATC refused to let me take passengers since I flew it into the country on my own. Would have been so much better to share the experience. Find me 2 customers who want to do the trip down the Nile and pay and I will do it again.

  • FANTASTIC MOVIE !!!!!

One of my -TOP 5- films of all time , back in the 80's while i was down with the flu i watched "Out of Africa" (about 3 hours long) 7 times over the course of 2 days and found something different each time ,and this scene just made me lose it ,when Meryl reaches back her hand to Robert , just speaks volumes as to how he had touched her so very much .

Multi OSCAR winner --BEST PICTURE 1985--

  • Only 420i.? Oh, dear, I wish it could be so much more. So beautiful!
