just bought this should be arriving soon. I'm concerned it won't work on my laptop here are my specs:

HP Pavilion dv2700 Notebook PC

Windows Vista 32-bit, Service Pack 2 (just upgraded from service pack 1)

Intel Core2 Duo CPU 1.83GHz

3.00 GB RAM

5400 rpm

3.4 rating for windows experience index

im concerned with the 5400 rpm and under 2GHz. However, I've already went to maudios website and installed the driver update for windows vista SP2

@hiddenquarters Cannot sync them. You need to trigger them in-time and I make sure that the samples and the tracks are at the same BPM. Then it is all ear after that to make them hit in time and stay that way.

do you have to used the m-audio connective for you to be able to cue with headphone

on the xponent cause am not able to used my headphone on the xponent also nice mix man I just got mine but before I got it, I had a M-Audio Connective could plz help me with that problem thanks.

@rlafontant88 You do not need to use connective at all. Just Torq. No idea why you would not be able to cue with the headphone jack in the front. Check your sound setting and make sure that 1/2 is cue and 3/4 is the audio going to the computer. Thats really all I can offer with the description.

@isaitub If you didnt get it yet. You can get it from the M-Audio website. You will need to register the X-Ponent there also.

@admooner I just search around and get them all over the place. There are several sample packs you can buy. Just depends on the music you want to make and the samples you are looking for. Also I make a lot of my own in Ableton.

What am I doing wrong? I cannot get the headphone to play the song I have cued up next while the other is playing. It only allows me to hear what ever the fader is set to. Probably a dumb question, but I just got the Xponent today and still getting familiar with it.

@hluv77 Are you using external sound also? In other words using the Xponent RCA outs on the back to some speakers... mixer etc? Also make sure settings --> audio preferences --> then master output (the one on the back) should be Xponent 1/2 and CUE audio is in the headphone jack on the front, if you cant select those then make sure audio interface setting above that is set to M-Audio USB Audio. Also dont forget to check cue vol knob on the unit. Other than that, check some forums :(

@hluv77 Had that prob too when i got mine... all u got to do is go to preference and choose in the audio tab, analog 1/2 xponent.... for the master output, analog 3/4 xponent... for the cue output, also for the audio interface choose m-audio usb asio... and finally, plug your speakers to your exponent, not to the pc... and thats it... enjoy mixing with this baby!

how did you connect your PC speakers to your xponent???

go to the audio preferences tab. Click on the Audio Interface drop down menu. One of the options should be your PC's soundcard. Another should be Connectiv or Xponent. Just select the PC Soundcard.

Don't forget to switch it back when you do a gig!

Yes it's a P205 with 4gigs of RAM and running Vista unfortunately with 250gigHDD and AMD64 dual core. But I am impressed with the XPonent and Torq everytime I use it. I will try to get my vid up today or tomorrow with a quick rundown of my xponent in VIrtual DJ, TRaktor, and DeckaDance as well.
