  • That gecko looks just like my gecko Baby.

  • @yukkiethepanda030 he's fine, they eat their skin, because in the wild, a predator could find the skin and know that a tasty treat is there, so let's just say "he's getting rid of the evidence"

  • i wounldnt say tht disgusting it unusal to me because i have a beareded dragon well a baby and when he frist shed i saw him eating his skin so i kinda panic if tht can damage in his stomach

  • If it is so disgusting I will be more than happy to take that beautiful Leo and respect it's natural traits

  • @TheKeanuxD My Leo's poo is huge and smelly, and he likes to stick his tail up against the corner of the tank so he can rocket launch his poo against the glass. I find that pretty disgusting, but that doesn't mean I love him any less.

  • that is how they have to shed dippie

  • Aww. That's pretty cute.

  • @hahalegolas they eat their own skin because it has a lot of calcium in it. it's good for them so don't freak out.

  • Gotta get it off somehow ;)

  • Might taste better if you fried it.

  • I had to help my friends leo shed once, he couldnt get it started.

  • This is sooooooo cute!!!!!!

  • Idiot its not gross it's natural

  • fuckin'; AWWWWSOME!

  • perfectly normal for them

  • Fuck u it aint disgusting it cute is wat it is damn basterd

  • whats gross? if you think this is gross well your going to have to deal with it. It's going to do that like 2 time a month

  • thats what they do

  • You should feel lucky- you have one great shedder on your hands. Many geckos have difficulty getting their skin off and lose toes because of it :(

  • This is not disgusting. Leopard Geckos eat their own skin to get calcium. And from my point of view it is beautiful.

  • What an awfull person would entitle this beautiful miracle of the nature "disgusting" ???

  • @TheSirspire She wants shoes!!!! When I shed my skin I leave some on my feet so they stay warm and cozy :D

  • I eat my boogies! Lol

  • lolthats not disgusting, lol. hes not eating it im sure but even so i bet you eat ur boogies, lmao!!!!!!!!!!!

  • adorable

  • there's nothing disgusting about this! it's completely natural. there's still nutrients left in the old skin, so they eat it by instinct! (in the wild, geckos could be forced to go weeks at a time between food, so they want all the food they can get!)

  • beef jerky?

  • Comment removed

  • You think thats disgusting!? I pulled off my leopard gecko's skin with my own hands willingly! he was happy! I find shedding skin interesting

  • I heard that some people's leo are so tame, the leo will let the person peel the old skin off gently.

  • They do that to get nutrients in the old skin

  • yum

  • mmm... frosted skin flakes!

  • my leopard gecko eats his skin because it makes up for any nutrients it doesnt get for some reason that and i find it cute

  • its so you dont get his finger prints at your money bank

  • is it weird that i find that adorable?

  • @BrightEyes10003 no ^^ Iike it to its the easyst way to find out. your reptile is in a good health but its funny how it`s pull of the Scale very elastic body :)

  • its nature

  • it uselay does that

  • The skin is good for them

  • noo...

its molting to get bigger... o-o

  • This is a darling creature. I don't think eating its own skin is disgusting at all. Poor little fella has no other way to get rid of the shedding skin. Even people eat things some consider more disgusting than that!

  • It's sooooo cute! I love lizards!!! There so cute and amazing!!

  • New SKIN , YEAAAAH , LETS PLAY MINECRAFT NOW!

  • i wish my leo did this. he always has a hard time with his shed.. a lot of shedding animals will do this in the wild to prevent a possible predator from knowing theyre there. some wont do it in captivity, and some will. the ones that do it are just being true to their instincts.

  • Reptiles shed their skin once in a while, it's like humans taking a shower.

  • WOW thumb up first times seeing this ... i never see they rip off their skin man

  • NUM NUM NUM NUMMY

  • This is actualy really good for your gecko. The skin contains lots of good minerals and proteïns

  • @Maarten488 i agree that's how it gets additional calcium

  • your gecko should have a wet box, it helps them get their skin off better instead of it having to pull it off

  • It pulls off it's skin to reveal his true Identity..."Super-Gecko!!!".

  • nom nom nom :)

  • i hate when mine does that....fuckn gross...i just do it for her

  • @lockboy15 lol

  • you pull of your condom with your mouth? thats 100 times more disgusting then the video lol

  • i love its colours

  • I think it's actually kinda cute... how it tugs at the skin. Awwww <3

  • Is the gecko a boy or girl because I have the same gecko and I'm not sure if mines a boy or girl.so is tour gecko boy or girl?

  • @scboxa88 thanks for that info

  • cute.

  • dose he eat it??? if so that is gross. will my geckos do thatt?

  • @animallover806 yes and its perfectly natural

  • @healonator realy about wat will mine do it cause mine is only a few months old (about)

  • @animallover806 i have 4 crested geckos and have never seen skin in the enclosures, meaning all 4 eat the skin. its got lots of minerals and nutrients that they can use. if they are having a hard time shedding you can raise the humidity a bit to help them out. you should try to avoid pulling it off your self.

  • whoareyou881 cool tell me how you'r gecko is cause i'm getting a bearded dragon soon i'll tell you how bearded dragons are

  • @bobbin1765 my boyfriend has a beardie and a leopard gecko :)

  • it's protein after all

  • L Gecko says i cleaned up the fking mess dont u see ?

  • HE IS PULLING IT OFF MORON....

  • wicked!!!

  • They eat it to leave no proof of the lizard from his predators

  • This is normal.

  • nom nom nom

  • Its nature

  • weakling.lol

    not the gecko

  • its kinda cute.. :D

  • very clever to peal it off, must say...

  • Actually, they are supposed to eat it, especially as babies, its good for them and fattens their tail c:

  • They do it to not leave any trace of them self behind so predators can't find and eat them.

  • hmm Delicious!

  • GIMME SAM SKEEN!

  • he's giving us a peepshow :D

  • that's how i pull off a condom.

  • @reti2000 do you have a strange medical condition that makes latex adhere to your skin?

  • how is that disgusting you plumb ?

  • @GoodCharlotteGC1 it's eating it's dead skin but im gonna assume that you do that to yourself on a daily basis so it wouldn't bother you that much

  • @xXLikeAbosSXx09 arent you a funny one ? and im not the one that flaps about a gecko shedding

  • idiot hes not supposed to eat it

  • @PixelatedPicture yes he is

  • recycling

  • he is moulting

  • @priest3344 shedding is the correct term for reptiles, molting is for insects

  • that was most awsome thing i've ever seen

  • vitamins and other stuff in their skin

  • There is something in their skin that is good for them.

  • you retard in stead of critticizing the poor thing why dont you put him in some warm water to help him shed

  • its shedding dumbo

  • 1300-BEAR-GRYLLS call now!

  • cry baby ur such a pussy

  • it looks like he is taking off socks at one piont

  • mm yum, protein

  • How is this gross? The skin is healthy for him and its better then having to clean the skin right?

  • that was gross and funny

  • It's recycling!

  • This is 100% completely normal. I does look really gross, but trust me, it's good for them.

  • cool!

  • its called recycling, something humans are barely able to comprehend :/

  • I wonder if that hurt? Maybe if he did it a day earlier it would like sting or something

    Questions questions...

  • Soooo Cute <3

  • That's just like jerking off in your hand and slurping it up......what's so weird about that?

  • So Cute!!

  • ooooo look at his bright new skin

  • its just takin its clothes off?

  • Strip Geclo lol :P

  • They do it, for the calcium. Its natural for them to eat the shedding.

  • Awwwww^^ That was cute. I wish my bearded dragons did that Xp No.. I have to soak them and help them..

  • i like the fresh taist of my dead pealing off skin in the morning..they say its good for ur liver

  • corse ... thats nature, Just like U pulling off Ur sweater in the summer.

  • he didnt do it to specifically to eat it! he was just taking it off..

    it was cute :3

  • thats cute!not disgusting...its natural to ,,,.oh im a gecko

  • That's very cute :)

  • i think its cute^_^

  • this is natural' leopard geckos shed they skin do you even know how to look after him or her

  • I bet he feels better.

  • Awww it's actually kinda cute! I swear i'm not lying :D so cute

  • They are supposed to eat their molted skin, because in the wild these geckos try to conceal evidence by eating their skin. I have a leopard gecko myself that does that.

  • you obviously dont feed it

  • @der3221f No, she or he does feed it. Geckos do that because in the wild, they eat their shed because if they left it where they shedded, predators could easily find them. I have a leopard gecko also, I feed him every other day, and he does the same thing. :)

  • @der3221f yeah he does they eat there skin that is a very heathly looking gecko

  • What a smart little lizard, I was about 1 second into this vid and a shouted "I want one!" They are so cute! Who cares if they eat their dead skin?

  • hes not eating it hes pulling it off. thats their natural thing to do.

  • they eat their dead skn so that they dont leave traces behind for predators to find

  • I think its a pretty cool thing to watch and ima girl

  • it's not disgusting, it's perfectly normal and natural. If you're gonna own an animal like this, you should understand it's habits and instincts.

  • I'm chewing on a piece of my skin off my fingers now.

  • They eat their skin because it's good for them. Most lizards do.

  • Gecko - "WOO I'M A CANNIBLE!!!"

  • I always try and catch mine in the process of shedding to maybe get a few of the body pieces before he eats them, so far I have two tail pieces.... I believe they came from the bottom or side?

    Anyways cool video (:

  • probably just his way of getting his skin off.

  • waste not.

  • that must be super itchy.....

  • their shed give them alot of good calcium and other nutrients

  • now that is cool . . i never watched any of mine shed so now i know how some do it

  • is this a mack snow leo?

  • a lepord gecko needs to eat its skin its full of nuutriton ( i learned this in school we have a leopard gecko)

  • AAAHHHH SO CUTE hey at least you don't have to touch it if you think it's so disgusting....

  • what's the big deal? humans their dead skin too;

    I do

  • @bbphnix yeah your right its just a natural thing that people and animals do

  • @bbphnix not a big deal it's a big deal with skin becuse i'm lovin't

  • and humans skin come off so ezayyou can toch youself and it comes off

  • so what

  • cant he get salmonella from that if he already has salmonella??

  • It's good for them. Oddly enough, the shedding does have a nutritional value that is good for the reptiles. That's why they eat it... If it flakes off, then it's useless, but the reptiles who have to peel it actually can gain by eating it.
