Style isn't cheap, it might be inexpensive sometimes, but certainly not cheap. You can always tell if a band has style by how they construct their music and what they use. Bands like this use visual stimulus for lack of content. Their music isn't inventive enough to overlook the fact that they use cheap instruments, if you can even call them that. I could name alternatives, but an introduction to these groups under these circumstances wouldn't be proper.

I've been in the club scene since 81. I went gold in 82. Party music? Not my concern, I party with style. I remember when people used to bring out their synth gear. Now, kids rely on a mac laptop, mp3s of their song. No integrity, no direction, just reaching for any gimmick from what has already been done. At least in the 80's, they could actually play, and had a sound. This is video game music for people trying to relive something they were never apart of.
