I was wondering why everything reminded me so much of Blazblue, especially how some of the persona attacks remind me of Carl Clover's drive attacks with Ada.

Don't think I'm not a fan of fighting games, because Soulcaliber series was one of my favorites, but I don't see a Persona fighting game working out.

Story mode will also depict the background of how Aigis comes to Inaba and enters the P-1 Grand Prix." thats a peice of an interview,it also said it will have a story to it :D

The only weird thing for me is that the game is set after the True ending. Meaning why do Teddie and Yu have their initial persona's since their ultimate persona are canon. If I had to guess, and I pray I'm right. Since each character has their own storyline, that you unlock their ultimate persona. Mitsuru, Akihiko and Aigis ar in it. The secret character I'm gonna go with either, Adachi, Marie or a sneak peek at the Protagonist for P5.

@2point5DV2 BlazBlue is pretty niche too. I mean, it did well for a niche game, don't get me wrong. But it's not one of the "big" fighters. It's certainly nowhere near a household name, because its complicated plot and anime styling turned off a lot of people. It actually probably sold less copies in the US than Persona 4 did - though I can only find opening week numbers.

That being said, it was freaking fantastic, and combining the two will make for an excellent game.

I'm surprised there isn't an Atlus vs. Type-Moon game out yet, or even an RPG. The two are so similar, I think they can blend really well together. Hell, you've got a fandom with enough proof in the SMT games to back up how utterly POWERFUL the characters are, and then you have the opposing fandom with concepts just as overpowered... This just brings up some really cool match-ups like the Demi-Fiend against Arcueid, or Raidou Kuzunoah XIV against Ciel, or even Serph against Saber.
