@bluphi1877 thanks for the compliment but we were not Huge, we were only a little above 128. I remember when we marched in SU back then, one of their Ole heads asked our size...he couldn't believe we were putting out sound like that being so small.
@bluphi1877 The Sounds of Dynomite was probably at it's largest size in '95 and '96. In '95 they were large enough to put JSU and ASU on the field at the same time during the Capital City Classic. If I'm not mistaken they were around 300 strong in '95. I wish we could have had a few more people in the band in '99. We would have been truly unstoppable.
yea dem t-bones off the chain!!! Goooood sound! MI sister waz a t-bone at GSU!!! (when they used to sound good) still do though just not as strong as the old band!!!(2000-2004)
please. alcorn playing a different song vs JSU coming into their theme song. its apart of JSU tradition, if they didn't come in to get ready someone would file a complaint!
KL (lead drummajor) and the crew look so smooth leading the Sounds. I remember how my friends us to mock being a drummajor and doing that airplane move. LOL
this is one of just a few years of the good Alcorn Band. They were huge in 99
...coming from a JSU fan

@impress3 well what yr was it that they were big as ever? Was it 2000 or 98? The yr they actually spelled alcorn on the field
bluphi1877 9 months ago
@bluphi1877 98 we were able to spell Alcorn out, we still were huge but we were a decent sized band that year. I think around the 170-190's total.
