Good stuff! Glad to finally see an OHR rig in action. I'm into stealth operation, so I was really interested to see that antenna working so well off the fence. Makes me wonder how a loop might perform laid out in a similar fashion. 73's de N5VWN
Terry-nice video. Its great to see what is possible with simple QRP rig. I was licensed many many years ago as a Novice, but never actually got on the air due to life getting in the way. I am working on getting the code down (hopefully) and getting a Technician license soon. Live in an apt so I will most likely be portable with QRP.
Yours is the first video I have seen of an OHR100A in action. Thanks for putting it on. Were you running a full 5 watts? What is your overall view of the rig? I have 20M and 30M models. Didn't realize your contact was deep into Florida. Terrific with that NVIS antenna.
Yes, 5 watts out. I am very happy with the OHR so far. It has out performed my Ten-tecs hands down. I am planning on building the 20M & 30M for field use. Thanks for watching.....
Respectable...

The ground side goes to a copper ground rod just out of view of the camera.

Terry, Thanks for this video. Dad I enjoyed seeing what QRP can do. It all sounds a bit improbable until you see it done.
The antenna leaves the tuner in one direction, and what I assume is some sort of ground heads off the other way. Is that right? Where does it go?
