This was one of Morgan Freemans greatest movies. Jessica Tandy as well. The music in this film was great. I was overwhelmed with this movie. The home she lived in was just remarkable.

In the dubbing in my language that is in spanish the translate is made in Mexico for Intertrack and this voice of Morgan Freeman is in charge of Maynardo Zavala. Good voice but he's dead in may of 2008. Rest in peace master.

I cry when learn this song of this beautiful film. I remenber when drive in direction to my field of rice in Perú (Lambayeque) with my father early in the morning in a motorcycle of 125 cc. of trademark chinese. Today I have a motorcycle Honda CGL 125 and is very powerful but your engine is silent. I like that detail.

Being Southern of a certain age, I can relate to this well. It was a story of friendship over cultural divide, decades, & eventual love. So happy that Ms Tandy won the Academy!

i used to watch this with my grandad from 89 till 1997 when he transitioned. the beginning of this chokes me up at 29 years old to this day. i miss my best friend.

My paternal grandmother, my dad, and I all saw this movie. My grandma eventually ended up in a home (9-9-06 to 3-2-01). She was a combination of Miss Daisy and Thelma Harper from "Mama's Family." RIP, gram. Love ya, gal!!
