What the heck, my sealed up p2's kick so much harder

the p2 10s suck. being i have owned a pair and have separated the voice coils with a 500w JL mono block amp turned to 50% gain + 75% bass boost. since then i have downgraded in brand to a power acoustik P3-15 and using the same amp and wiring the 15 to a 1ohm load, that 15 has handled 90% gain + 100% bass boost and has not had any issues handling the power . when u buy name brand products, that is all u r buying is the name. i have seen radio shack componet speakers out do infinity componets.

just so all u's know the punch series subwoofers are not free flow speakers they need to be in eather a ported venter or Tline box and beleave me des tested at 160.7 with 2 rockford P3 12's with a 1000 wat punch series amp

@iwalklikedat12 just so you know fosgates dont suck ass, no speaker sucks ass.... they all have different sound, you can take any driver and make it loud if you know what you are doing. an honstly alpines are not that good either. wanna talk about get a good brand, get dd's, orion, anything that cost over 400$ then you will be talking about blowing water out of other subs, untill then get your shit straight

is the sound different between a vented box and a inclosed box got the same speakers but in a inclosed box wana know if it would sould different in a vented box like that let me know

@dchrish in a ported box its a much deeper bass and lower. in a sealed its a much tighter higher bass sound. keep it sealed. theses subs need to be sealed. ported didnt sound to good
