You don't know what house you're in because you don't fully understand your house. You didn't get sorted wrong, you just have different expectations. Hufflepuff OUT!!
@RighteousWeevil I have a funny feeling that we're muggles. We didn't play the game when stated to play, so we didn't get our letters. They probably won't accept more people until next year in September. Pretty clever if that's what they're doing.

When I listen to this song, I always gets panic and thinks: What if I'm not sorted into hufflepuff??!! But it was 5months since I was sorted and I was sorted into hufflepuff... But the "what if..." panic is still there...
I always thought I was a Hufflepuff, all the way up to the day Pottermore sorted me into Gryffindor. And I did freak out initially, because I'd always seen Gryffindors as arrogant and too quick to jump into things without thinking them through.
But now I'm used to the idea I can see that description actually fits me pretty well! And although I still think Hufflepuff has the best qualitys, I can see that I dont really possess them.

As we read the books and see the films we get a certain impression about the houses and which one we fit in. Well sometimes we get it wrong just because Luna isnt the smartest doesn't mean she isn't a Ravenclaw, just because Snape isn't evil doesn't mean he isnt a Slytherin.
You are all Nevilles! Thinking you belong in one house, and not the other. Well, time to buck-up and face the music, you're in the right house, and you're their to stay.
@Sancon95 then again as J.K.R. has already stated in the books and interviews, he hat takes into account the house that you yourself wish to be in. Harry could have been good in either slytherin or gryffindor and he himself chose which house to be in. Same with Snape.
@jynxirouge2 Oh ho ho, that's the conundrum, and yet, the good part about pottermore. I was so concerned I wasn't going to be a hufflepuff and I kinda moaned and groaned about "If it were the real sorting hat, it would let me choose" and I took the test (in beta of course) and in the end, since I had an equal amount of answers for both ravenclaw and hufflepuff, it allowed me to choose between the 2. It was so beautiful and I was about to cry. Its silly, but it really felt like it was so real.

Pottermore was finally my justification to my friends that I WAS Ravenclaw. No one ever believed me, even though I think I would know which house I'm in. But Pottermore proved I was right :)
I really don't mind what house I get sorted into, but that said I REALLY hope that I'm in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. I've seen myself as a Ravenclaw for ages, but I also have a bit of a Slytherin side. If I end up in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor I really wont mind either. (But I'd rather be something different from Gyffindor, because....Well I want to learn about the other houses.)

@kitathewhitewolf I disagree. The quiz is our best way of knowing what house we are, but it can't read our minds like an actual sorting hat can, so it isn't perfect. JK Rowling may have written the series, but she doesn't know each of us well enough to decide what House we belong in; no simple quiz can do that.
See I love this song. But theres people all over the world who think they did get sorted into the wrong house. the things is how do you know its wrong? you dont. you picked the house the appealed to you the most. But you really dont know where the sorting hat would put you. JK Rowling is the sorting hat. She made that quiz. She said it was accurate... I love this song because it doesn't look down on hufflepuff (or any other house). When you watch the video it's obvious that he is a gryffindor, but when you're just listenting to the song he could be in any house!

It isn't weird that so many gets sorted into the "wrong" house, because they are very alike. Slytherin and Gryffindor are very alike, and Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff too. Slytherin and Ravencalw also and Gryffindor and Hufflepuff ...
i hate it when people are like "i was sorted into hufflepuff but i know i should be in ravenclaw." um no. if you answered it honestly, you aren't a ravenclaw, you are a hufflepuff. get over it. you aren't clever just because you think you are. you aren't brave and loyal, because you think you are. you aren't ambitious because you want to be. just shut up. accept the house you were sorted into and stop claiming pottermore sorted you wrong.

Pottermore was finally my justification to my friends that I WAS Ravenclaw. No one ever believed me, even though I think I would know which house I'm in. But Pottermore proved I was right :)

I really don't mind what house I get sorted into, but that said I REALLY hope that I'm in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. I've seen myself as a Ravenclaw for ages, but I also have a bit of a Slytherin side. If I end up in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor I really wont mind either. (But I'd rather be something different from Gyffindor, because....Well I want to learn about the other houses.)

I know what you mean about the House fakers. My best guy friend swore he was a Gryffindor, and we always used to argue about it. I'm like "Umm NO, dude. You're a Ravenclaw." I made him take this insanely long Hogwarts House Personality Test (it's legit) and he came to school the next day and he's like "Yeah I'm a Ravenclaw.." VICTORY. <3

@kitathewhitewolf I disagree. The quiz is our best way of knowing what house we are, but it can't read our minds like an actual sorting hat can, so it isn't perfect. JK Rowling may have written the series, but she doesn't know each of us well enough to decide what House we belong in; no simple quiz can do that.

But you really dont know where the sorting hat would put you. JK Rowling is the sorting hat. She made that quiz. She said it was accurate... My friend thought he was a gryffindor. but he was put in ravenclaw is very much a ravenclaw

It isn't weird that so many gets sorted into the "wrong" house, because they are very alike. Slytherin and Gryffindor are very alike, and Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff too. Slytherin and Ravencalw also and Gryffindor and Hufflepuff ...

i hate it when people are like "i was sorted into hufflepuff but i know i should be in ravenclaw." um no. if you answered it honestly, you aren't a ravenclaw, you are a hufflepuff. get over it. you aren't clever just because you think you are. you aren't brave and loyal, because you think you are. you aren't ambitious because you want to be. just shut up. accept the house you were sorted into and stop claiming pottermore sorted you wrong.
