Check out flyinggiants . com Thread number 30713 it's long but everything you need to know about this plane from the first release right up to today is on there.
I've had this plane for about a year and half now and I do have to say that every moment of flying it is a complete blast!!! Mine is powered by a MT-57 with a Cannister Muffler with a 22 x 12 Mezjlik Carbon fiber prop (2 blade). I'm using a Futaba 7C FAAST 2.4 GHz radio with it and it suberb, NO PROBLEMS!!! It ways about 16 lbs now but we just got carbon fiber gear for it so it should be around 15.5 to 15.75 lbs. Oh and it does pretty much have UNLIMITED VERTICLE.
The evo 58 is overkil and heavy unless your pushing 18+ pounds. 8 horse power and swings a 24/10 are you serious? thats insane. I have a dle 55 in my 87 yak and it goes stright up as fast as it goes forward. Im using a 22x8 prop because i a 23x8 caused so much torque on my plane that i couldnt keep any kind of acuracy. My plane is a nitroplanes yak 54 85 wing 81 fuse @ 14lb 15oz dry. I modified the wings to 87 inches from 85 because the 22x8 was overkill before adding the extra wing length.
Im getting one of these in august. I am thinking of putting n ASP 400 radial on. Havent decided what servos. I have a futaba 7c fasst radio, this should be adequete? any help that would assist me building the model + extras would be greately appriciated, thanks
Im going to repost without the crap music Google made me put over the original sound track Thanks WMG! for nothing.
I no longer have the original's so no engine sounds Sorry.

Sick flying. I'm a big fan of Hangar 9, too chicken to invest so much in one myself though :D

Hi, what kind of battery and servos are you using?
lope7331 3 years ago
I have 2 5C 6V 2000mAh NiMH Flat 4/5A on the receiver and 1 2000 Mah li-on on the ignition.
6 futaba 9155 servos on the control surfaces and 2 standard futaba 3004's running the throttle and choke.
this is all controlled by a 14 channel futaba fasst receiver.
