Still, committing suicide(not for the greater cause) seems like a tremendous loss in not only human lives, but the materials that brought them and support them in this world prior to their deaths. Deciding time is one thing, if they were to kamikaze themselves into an alien ship(ref. Independence Day), now that's justifiable.

Oh yes, perhaps you cannot truly grasp the full extend of what I am trying to imply here. So here's a trivial question for your mind to work on.
Would you consider, people who are "Emos", are capable enough to think maturely in a logical and philosophical sense and know that their actions are in a way constructive?
Nor do they ever thought about that their deaths might actually have negative impacts on their love ones? family for example.

Remember we are not asked if we would like to be born or not - we have no controll in starting our life but we have full controll when it comes to ending our lifes - that is justifiable! It do not matter if a person is "EMO" or CEO - suicide is a right - the "EMO" and the CEO are going to die anyway - let them both decide over their own lifes.. YES to freedom and NO to paternalism

The question lies for every individual, though most are blind or arrogant enough to see this. Either way, your statements about exemplifying CEO and EMOs are very irrelevant. EMO is a sub-culture whereas CEO is ranking clarification.

I think it is very selfish to say to a person; oh no - you must not end your problems by ending your life - that will hurt my feelings.. Suicide has many reasons - maybe someone is very ill and just wants to have peace, maybe someone is very old and do not want to go to an retirement-home, maybe someone is simply just bored living or maybe someone just wants to controll the circumstances for his/her own death.
