teamwork is a thing, perahps the key to learning udk , is to do it in groups?
Maybe someone coudl also make a 'learning udk' game that's mostly a chat room, but also maybe has props and those people who show up there from forums, all learn together and maybe make more stuff tools etc as a team or not
Can you tell me what is the most recommended configuration for the grid to work with it?... Because I'm new with Maya and preferences are 12.0000, 5.0000 and 5 respectively..I think this is too small.
I'm using a Mac version of this, and you know how you change the attributes of the cube from 1 to 96, I wonder if you know how to get to that INPUTS tab with the Mac version? I've spent a lot of time, and it's not there, the other two tabs you have above it are there, just not the INPUTS one.
good tutorial but now that i changed the grid. i cant see the whole grid like on yours. o can only see half wen i move close i can see more. something the do with vieuwdistance any idea how to change it so i can vieuw all?
Gosh, I saw the video, tried it out, had the same problem, resetted my whole maya preferences because I thought I broke it and NOW I see the solution to the problem! DAMN me for not reading the comments all the time and THANK you to for talking about it.
Nice boss! :)

I also use a Mac. So by now you should have figured out that there is a "Channel Box/Layer Editor" tab on
the right side of your workspace. Click on it again and again till it develops (though once should be enough).
Under the pcube1 "translate, rotate, scale, visibility" section, you’ll find the SHAPES and then the INPUT
sections. Under the INPUT section, click on "polycube1" and this would make appear the parameters
you need to change to adjust the cube’s proportions.

Its easy to fix.
Just go to perspective viewport and you'll see View-->Camera Attribute Editor --> Near Clip Plane .010
Far Clip 100000

@WorldofLevelDesign I applied those settings but found the Near Clip Plane value to be insufficient so I set it up to 0.600. Good video though!

@Curlsbel90
