its fake, there were only 7 1967 shelby gt 500 made in 1967 with metallic siver. and the rest of the 2043 shelbys only came with a 289 ci. roughly 305hp. the matallic silver was a 428 ci with 600 cfm twin four barrel holley carbs. pushing over 350 hp. this is a fake!!!! if it were real a true shelby owner would never compare it to a mach 1 on the streets the 67 gt 500 should only see floor room. ur not a multi millionaire, and hell even if u were u cant get ur hands on this car.

I had a Torch red 03 Mach1. Don't let the similar numbers fool you the new GT mustang isn't even close to the level of asinine brutality that car laid down. Those 8 extra valves make one hell of a difference. Interior comfort is a whole other story. Can't wait to get a 67/68 fastback.

I had one in '81 and was so, so, so lucky to have found it. I had to sell it because of a financial situation after 6 years of sheer joy. I never regreted something so much. A mach 1 does run a high 12 or low 13 stock.. it just depends what kinda driver you have behind the wheel.. and of course the gt500 will win.. its a 427 supercharged probably pushing 600hp.. personally i like them both.. i would rather own the gt500 butt still they are both nice cars

how the hell do u figure a stock mach 1 with street tires runs a high 12 low 13s...they have a 32 valve 281...i drove a 99 gt with 3.73s CAI, throttle body and cams...with a good tune...i couldnt get 13.5s

i know what engine they have.. its a little bit more modified than a 4.6gt engine.. basically the cobra engine without a supercharger... and ive seen a friend of mine running a 12.6 with his mach 1.. on drag radials. 4.10gears. and exhaust and intake with a tune.. thats it.. he would dump the clutch at 5500rpm...
