It's even harder to understand why Angela did not get into the top 24, after watching the girls episode.

Not sure what they are looking for this year.

Good enought to get a spot on Ellens show. Good enough to get a record deal.

Good enough to get a song written for her by Kara.

But not good enough to get into the top 24, which includes some very mediocre performers.

I think they should cut to top 48, and let the public vote the top 12.

I noticed that on X-Factor that they don't have to sing acapella. And they aren't standing directly in front of three people staring intently in their faces. Anyone who can even sing on key in that hot room with all of that light is amazing to me. it's now a top 36.... 3 groups of 12 with 3 advancing from each group and 3 judges wildcards (even thought there are 4 judges)... It should really be top 50 with 5 groups of 10 with 5 advancing leaving a top and btm 25... The judges bring back 20 from the eliminated 25 and split them into 2 groups of 10 with the top 4 from each group advancing and then the judges decide between the 5th placers from both groups making a top 36.... nuff said lol
