  • Thank you for sharing this video Gerald!

  • Excellent that meditation worked very well for me too! I would never have thought of trying that. Thank you for sharing - Good luck and Meta - Graham

  • thank you :)

  • Thank your Gerald. Excellent Message.. Is this a variant of Metta Meditation?.. thanks for the tip of using the little idle times we have for doing this meditation like on a Stop Light...

  • good viewpoints. thx

  • This is something I really need in my life right now.

    Thanks!

  • Al mayo cums in your breakfast. It really helps in your life.

  • LOVE is the truth....Thank You :-)

  • very nice

  • How do you "know" that love never causes pain? What about death?

  • That went pretty well. I'm thinking of posting a video response to elaborate on the entire situation. I'll see where that goes.

  • Verry inspirational, indeed. I found meditation for my self before few years and never had any guide so that is a good advice. I've never concentrated on a feeling before.

    Best regards,

    Vlado

  • thankyou for your videos gerald! youre a very special man! much love emma

  • Are you vegetarian, GeraldP1983. Fantastic vid =)

  • Yep, sure am! :)

  • I really appreciate this meditation. Thank you!

  • Thanks Gerald. The thing I like about your videos is the positive, peaceful nature that emanates from them and from you. More proof in the pudding that this meditation is extremely beneficial.

I also know that this loving state is what we should be striving for to evolve ourselves beyond our chaotic state. . .There I go again, talking about reducing consciousness entropy. *sigh* Anyway, thanks for the vid. :-)

  • "I also know that this loving state is what we should be striving for to evolve ourselves beyond our chaotic state."

I listened to this podcast on 2012 and heard a very similar thing to what you were saying there.

  • Pure field of information is every thing. Love is very connecting informatiion, but that would be putting it simply.

  • Awesome, dude. You are 100% right on true love meaning 0 attachment, 0 self-serving thoughts. Love is what we generate toward someone, not what someone should generate toward us.

Great meditation. I tried even while listening to your video and it is a great focal point. It might seem like "cheating" by trying to create these feelings in your own mind - but if you think about it, every feeling comes from your own mind. =)

  • Meditation can be PERPRTUAL and will never end, experience doesn't end during the life, even in deep sleep, a deep substrate consciousness is available. Some are able to keep a deeply sharp and concise awareness that avoids laxity and excitation, because one would cause to loose consciousness and the other would agitate and make you overflowed with informationof which the source is your own mind. This rule is in every meditation.

  • Thank you for this meditation. If it's helpful to anyone - because I get so busy (like everyone) I have made it a practice to meditate while I am in the shower every morning - that way I always make time for it and it is one of the first things I do in my day. It makes a difference in your day!

Thank you again. Please continue with more of your insights.

  • I tried it....how wonderful. :-)

    Thank you Gerald.

  • yo gerald, do you want to get involved in someway with the video version of the mumonkan im making? /user/themumonkan

  • Hey Simon! Send me a message about this, I"m not sure what mumonkan is, I'd love to help if I could!

  • Hey, great video! Daily Meditaion has really helped me. If you first start off meditating but do not feel the motivation to do it daily. Remember, the rewards will definatly come. 5 or 10 minutes meditating daily is better than 2 hours once a week. This way we can condition our minds.

Expanding on the love meditation, to generarte compassion, first think of a friend or loved one and generate the warmth that gerald talked about. Then repeat it for people who may not be friendly with you.

  • great, thanks for sharing, gerald !

i'm not into meditation but i try to maintain the compassion mode constantly

and when i face an agressive approach that constructs a me in the state of opposition that allows no love

i simply accept this temporary me and then it fades and compassion comes back.

but i will try your suggestion later when back home.

    cheers !

  • thank you for this meditation, gerald. it also gave rise to thoughts of unconditional love, which we mostly conceive of as directed in the flow out from ourselves to others, yet most definitely includes ourselves and our own knowlege of ourselves as fallible beings. thank you for sharing this.
