  • how much sodium is in the foods that are in the diet plan. seems to be alot but i dont know. honestly i think im just gonna go with your wii video. ea actaive that is. awsome for the winter time. i cant work out outdoors in the winter time. hate cold weather and hate breathing in cold air, it burns your lungs. great solution now i can stay fit all year long :). thanks keep up the good videos.

  • i love u sarah

  • WOOHOO Iv been on OPTI Fast for a few weeks now and Can Definatly see results.... Exercise is naturally effective in conjunction with or without any superficial help, but IM STOKED As iv only been doing half an hour a day, where as before opti slim, i was GOING HARDCORE Working out and GETTING NO WHERE!!!

    I LUV OPTI SLIM!!

  • Yes. They have healthy guidelines and you have to work within a certain amount of points. You also have an extra 35 a week and you earn points through activity. I've lost 80 pounds with exercise and WW.

  • ppl, dont unsubscribe....shes just paying the bills! u watchd it, u dont have to do it!

and sarah...i think i speek for all of us when i say we rather see your fitness videos. they r great :)

  • Hey Sarah! You need to read this great book, that I'm currently reading "The China Study". It's awesome and it compares the diets of people in different parts of China and how those who live in one section are able to ward off cancer, heart disease and other common western diseases. The research was over fifty years. The trick is no animal protean and no dairy products. Oh and pass the book to Katrina too! Ciao!

  • * protein

  • That's good news for me, as I'm a vegetarian! I do, though, eat dairy. Thanks for letting me know about the book, it sounds interesting. Does it have recipes from that area at all? Or meal suggestions?

  • I'm a third of the way through the book. As far as I can tell he doesn't present any recipes but he does show some interesting facts on what he's come up with while doing the research. It's been hailed as perhaps the definitive book on human nutrition and what humans should be eating. His credentials are impeccable.

  • These shakes are about half fructose. Those in the know have been quietly distancing themselves from fructose.

Last month in the AJCN presented an ugly case against fructose. They persuaded 33 overweight and obese people to try a 10 week diet which was either 25% fructose or 25% glucose. The people on the fructose diet ended up with increased (1.5kg) tummy fat, higher fatty triglycerides (which leads to heart disease) and 20% higher insulin resistance (which leads to Type II Diabetes).

  • Guys, This program is sponsoring Diethealth (they have to pay the bills somehow/sometime). Besides, if you're morbidly obese where it could be fatal this isn't a bad idea (like if you can't stand up).

  • This why people stay fat because they're too lazy to exercise and look for a quick fix like this. Dust off your running shoes and get outside!

  • fuck this. I doidn't suscribe advertising...

    I' m unsubscribing this...

  • i went on that stuff for 2 weeks and lots 4 kilos and i also exercised alot but as soon as i went off it it just came back on n i was still eating the correct food. ur pretty much starving urself. u cant just stay on liquids.

  • No thanks Sarah. Id rather hear about what you and others do to stay fit, not fake infomercials. Ppl, dont unsubscribe, shes just paying the bills. U watched it, u dont have to do it.

  • I am unsubbing.

Promote exercise and good health, not commercials..

  • This channel has been sucking big time lately.

  • The foods provided in these diet programs are often tasteless or have high amounts of fillers and additives in them. The best way to eat well is to eat fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats and low fat diary.

Sure, you may be losing a ton of weight on these program, but at what cost? Think about how much money you will spend buying these "foods"...In this economy, you're sure to be broke if you're spending 12 dollars a day buying pre-packaged food items.

  • nooooooo diethealth has come down to commercializing....=[

  • the testimonial at 1:20 she is lying, because her eyes look to the left :P they try keep their eyes straight because if they make up things it is natural for the brain and eyes to look certain directions (up,down, left, right) (left side is constructed images, right is remembered)

  • commercial!

  • common Sara promote exercise. This is bad. This is commercial.

  • sell out...

  • I hope they paid you well...

  • commercial

  • oh noes diethealth don't sell out!

  • someone sold out! so much for teaching people how to learn and maintain lifelong habits. isee people binging after using this and gaining all of their weight back. such a disappointment from this site!

  • weren't we not supposed to eat stuff that come from boxes???

this sounds too commercial to me....

  • P.S DIETS DON'T WORK!!!

  • Yea you'll get skinny & BROKE!Shits EXPENSIVE!

  • In a weird way I really like that you have this.

I love the diethealth videos, and it is nice to know that you guys are being compensated well.

Also, Sarah is a LOT less grating than most infomercial hosts. I'll deal with this to watch the original content...

As a side note, it would be cool to integrate user experiences with your sponsors. If anyone who used that program sees this, they should make a video response!

  • I hate commercials.

  • Sooooo much negativity towards this video!!! I am currently on a meal replacement diet and have lost 17kg (38 lbs). The meals that I do eat are actually full of healthy foods instead of the junk I used to eat.

I am learning to eat properly with better food choices and also to exercise more regularly etc....

Whilst I do not say this is the only way to diet I have found that is definitely works for me.....It's an option people...just like every other option it works for some people and not others

  • Ugh... while clearly labeled as an ad, I'm still disappointed to see you folks doing this. You know darn well that "meal replacement" shakes, fasts, etc. have no long-term success. People used to stay fit while eating actual food... why is that such a foreign concept? Probably because it can't be packaged and sold to the masses. Sigh.

  • I believe in eating real food. All those "health" shakes cannot be healthy. The more weight loss programs, and diet foods are society has, the fatter we seem to get.

  • OMG i totally agree with u!!!! How hard is it to eat fruit and veg and just stay away from shit, these shakes have quite a few carbs in them, u may aswell starve urself.... SHAKES are not the way to lose weight healthly!!!!!!

  • i love u sarah

  • That might just be a great solution towards someones weight loss goals.

  • Sell out in my opinion?

  • money talks, I guess. That's why I love Scooby1961's page. No money, no bull.

  • Scooby is the man!

  • check this girl out, she is amazing

    charliejames1975

  • funny you mention that... I just found her page the other day. She's really good, especially with bodyweight workouts. I tried her protein shake, and loved it. (And of course, watching a beautiful, fit woman work out never hurts lol).

Between Scooby and Zuzana (her name, I believe), we're ok. Let Sarah make her money.

  • Scooby is the best!

  • 5 stars :)

  • To me, this looks like Slim Fast with a doctor. No thanks. I'm not impressed.

  • I agree with anoceanbetween, however, I do think that it may benefit those severely overweight (by 100 lbs). I wouldn't try it to lose 10 - 20 lbs!

  • Well let's see how Optifast turns out.

  • 80Studies have proven it worked, how many did they do? Statistics are so easy to falsify.

  • 2/3 is obesse caused by

    -procesed food

    -bad diets

and it also affects all this commercials, like Jenny craig, weight watchers, also this kind of advertisements like we are watching right now, because they make us feel that there is no hope unless we pay them to help us.

the true answer is learning how to eat healthy and excersice.

  • I used optifast, I was 10304923348 pounds and now I'm down to 10.. I'm in the hospital now dying of hunger all because the optifast doctors told me never to eat again.. Damn those bastards, but atleast I'm thin! Yay!

  • yeah, this was disappointing.

  • What about a guy like me who already weight lifts? My muscle mass went up, but my BMI is at 11%. Can I still lower it on this?

  • this really turns me off to your channel. You are getting paid to sell this stuff to us.

  • I'm glad that they at least tell us it's an advertisement rather than just trying to pawn it off. I love this channel and without things like this, how do you think they are able to continue providing free information and get better equipment? New software, etc?

  • I have to agree with you. if they are going to advertise diets like that they need to be objective and show some potential struggles with the diet if the channel's true intention is to inform. umm htebharas is right though with everything in life comes bills to pay and this is one way to whittle 'em down

  • And this is crap.

all you need for a diet is healthy food and a little bit activity well jog 2-4 times a week and eat every day a lil piece of chocolate or anything sweet so you stop your cravings.

  • Unfortunately this isn't a fix for everyone - why do you think 2/3 of the nation is obese or the billion dollar diet pill industry? At least this program allows for medical monitoring. It's for people who need to lose a lot of weight, not just 5 pounds.

  • yeah this seems to be a program for someone that has significant weight to lose. however, with a BMI of 27, I only have say 20 (at most) pounds left to lose, could I still benefit from something like this?

  • their website says it's safe for people with a BMI of 25+ but I believe they target the program at people with a BMI of 30 or above

  • Exactly. Pointing out there are better or healthier ways to lose weights doesn't challenge the argument made by optifast that it is a good, healthy way to lose weight. Personally I wish people could get by filling their plates with 2/3 veggies and 1/3 lean proteins, but since most people have a problem with that we need to find alternatives. This one seems to be a good one, so why not promote it?

  • my mom followed the optifast program and lost a ton of weight last year! Pretty cool to see them on youtube
