We have had our civil rights systematically removed for the last 8 years and McCain backed bush on every turn. I don't like congress either but nothing made it through without Bush OKing it. Yes, I have children, that is another reason I won't support a war monger who has nothing in his budget to improve education or to advance alternative energy. I read both major candidates plans.
yes i do read the comments. look, people are very passionate on both sides of the arguement. the only thing i have in response is that i do not believe that someone who was held 5 years as a pow is not in love with war, rather his country and will do anything to defend it in the face of an enemy. unfortunately this is the world we live in today. his only opposition to alternative energy is not subsidizing ethanol, with high corn prices we all pay for it at the grocery store with food costs.
I don't think he loves war, I think he is bitter about it and will make rash and bad choices. So do many of the Republican he works with. He voted down every alternative energy proposal that has come up in the last 8 years and there is nothing in his proposed budget for either alternative energy or education. Palin didn't earn the right to be where she is. We agree the Supreme Court should only follow the law. a liberal majority supreme court should scare anyone with half a brain into voting for the more conservative ticket. do you have children? just check out the latest georgia supreme court ruling..once again children lose;sex offenders win. we will see less and less victim's rights and more trial lawyers getting rich. obama says he will appoint based on if a judge can "feel" for the case (i'm paraphrasing) mccain will appoint on upholding the constitution as it was written by our founding fathers.
