I do believe that there are some inconsistencies in your projectile motion problem. When shooting a basketball, you forgot to account for backspin imparted by the wrist action. And as you are shooting through the Earth's atmosphere, you did not account for air resistance. Also, the basketball ring is 10ft off the ground so h=5 is wrong AND you are shooting into a netball hoop. What is this?
