You're right. Stringer has no legal authority over the Catskill Delaware watershed but he decides he wants this toxic water- and energy-intensive drilling method banned there and used in our food-producing areas (and other communities' watersheds) upstate! He's really gross on this issue (and a bunch of others).
Too bad Scott Stringer dupes people into thinking he is trying to protect NYS from frack gas drilling. I believed his phony kill the drill campaign until I read more about him and heard him on NPR. He actually supports gas drilling in our food and watersheds, just with more "regulation".
