this female drummer she got skills, she got attitude, her look is very suitable as a female drummer, other female drummers their look is as kitchen lady!:))) brilliant job girl!:D
I've been drumming since I was 12, and I'm in my 40's now... I've been drumming all along as a life-long passion. I play rock but also am classically trained and play percussion with orchestras. I always suggest taking lessons or studying on line to fast-track drumming success- which also means learning to read.
Hi There! Yes, I have a tip for you!! Learn from other people- take lessons if you can afford it, or use youtube lessons to learn- there is so much information out there!! Good luck!!
Is it different in some way or how is it? I mean, I'm a male drummer and sometimes it's really difficult to drum with my size of shoe (11) wearing formal shoes (suit shoes) because I play on a church near my home, and playing like that is a little uncomfortable.
I am working on perfecting my double bass skills. Haven't really tried to do this before but after hearing you play double bass I am so set on perfecting it. How about some tips on what to practice and how to practice....
Hi There! The best thing to practise on the double bass are just groups of two! When you incorporate them with different things with your hands, it sounds awesome! You can do triplets with one on the hands, two on the bass, or check out my other videos for more ideas- I rarely play more than 2 bass drum notes in a row!! Good luck!
Thanks for watching my video!! The roll that you mentioned is a series of six-stroke rolls.... I have a teaching video that goes through this lick... it is one of my favorites to play, and always sounds good when you play it fast!!
Good luck with the six-stroke roll, and all of your drumming!
Very impressive work indeed! I'm glad that I fly helicopters for a living as something like this takes real coordination and skill! I'd like to be able to say that I could match this, but I have a long way to go before I reach this level. Very enjoyable!
Haha! Thanks for the compliment about the snare sound. I always say, keep tightening it!! Top and bottom heads, tight!! You don't want to choke it, of course, but most people could tighten their snares more and be happier with the sound and the feel! Also, playing rim shots for 99% of all hits makes things sound good too!!
Hi and thanks for the compliments about my drumming. I had a great guy do my videos, we had two cameras, one moving and one stationary, and I think these videos sound good on youtube because he really compressed the sound alot. There is also a product out there that is a camera and excellent recording device in one that retails for about $350 that is specifically for youtube posting. Good luck! Dale Anne
Some of the most intelligent drumming I have heard in years! Excellent use of your double pedal in combination with first-class technique as you move about your drum set. You have developed some fantastic four-bar moves that begin with some fine basic drumming on the snare with limited use of cymbals, Can't wait to hear more of your work. Joe Holland in Little Rock
Love it!!! How did I miss this clip? Clean, tight rhythms, solid beats, smooth transitions...it was all there! Bravo!!! I have some "old school" clips on here. My little tributes to Buddy Rich you might enjoy as well. Thanks for this excellent clip. :-)
Absolutely amazing drumming!! Masterful touch throughout the solo and clear concise notes, a real treat for music lovers everywhere! Thanks for posting your excellent work, and Congratulations on a World Class performance!

Hi Dale Anne... Thanks for getting back... I'll keep spreading the word.. and, babe... you rock!!!!... Love your straight forward style.... George.... P.S.... I 'm amazed at how responsive and articulate the birch kit is!
birch is really nice, ive got a Pacific 805 series kit. it came with a 24 inch bass drum and the shells are by no means small. they are big and very open. my kit is all birch with the exception of a maple side snare. good stuff!
On a second look, is that a Sonor 2000 series?.... Are they birch?.... I'm looking into the Sonor 2007's. Love the dry sound, and great attack.... The tuning is low, but very, very rock! Peace, drummer girl... George
Hey Dale Ann.... nice musical solo!... Love the tone of the drums!.... What kind of kit are you playing?... (It's hard to make out the badge.... and, looks like an 8 lug kick?).... Any remarks or tips (i.e. tuning, heads, etc..) would be appreciated. Peace, George

Yeah, I keep my snare pretty tight and, I too, rim shot everything! Being a metal drummer, I sometimes even rim shot toms to give added attack.
I might try tightening snare though, see if that makes a difference :)
Also, what sort of music do you generally play? :)
Thanks!
Cameron.
