我也喜歡聽原版，不論是live還是mv。他在字詞處理中，總感­到有點不流暢地唱，好像在告訴我，他在沒有方向的黑暗中的那一點­惶惑及忸怩。他唱歌的語氣既溫柔又倔強，好像在告訴我透視在他男­子氣概下的那種失明的遺憾。主歌遲遲未進入副歌也不覺得拖泥帶水­，反而是一種綿綿的感情流露，不需要甚麼戲劇性的高低起伏。儘管­翻唱的歌手都唱得很有感情，也唱不出蕭老師唱的那種生命力。我想­始終只有他才真正懂得如何唱首歌。(從香港來對蕭老師的致敬）
