Galamsey is not illegal in Ghana, the political leaders talk about making it illegal, but know that there would be an immediate revolution if they attempted to stop it. What should be illegal, is the big mining corporations who come in and steal farmers land and utterly destroy the land on a massive scale.

@xmorg they don't pay royalties, they dont apply for a mining license, they dont pay taxes, they dont follow any sort of health & safety regulations, the list goes on. As you can see many people die from this practice.
