I honestly beilive age doesnt matter..aslong as you both have the same goals in life and you both can understand each other. Its all a matter of communicating ,
i'm 16 years old and i'm inlove with a 25 year old guy. and our age is our big problem. our friends keep teasing us. and he was too shy to express his feelings to me becoz not only that i'm only 16 but its becoz my parents were not into him. i'm a highschool student with a high standard family and he's only a company driver who works to my aunt sometimes. but i really really love him even though he's only like that., i'm attracted w/ his looks he's a hottie and handsome and his concern 4 me.
It's a little out of the norm, I know, but I am happy and we are very compatible. We both have similar health problems, eat the same strict diet, and are homebodies for the most part, with the occasional outing. I had a lot of trouble finding guys who shared my lifestyle and goals, but my S.O. does. The gap really isn't even a problem with us. I know I'll have to take care of him someday, but I am ready.
I dont think people should worry about age gaps, if it works for them gr8 As long as they can handle & deal with the preasure sometimes given from outsiders. Face it, we all wanna be acepted by society,"or do we"

Agreed, it's about common interests, life stages, and lifestyles. I am 20 years old, but have had an ABUNDANCE of life experience, traveled the world on my own, and completely support myself financially and otherwise. I know what I want in life and am pursuing my goals
I truly beleieve MOST 19, 20, and 21 year olds are not yet where I am, and are NOT ready to be in an equal, balanced relationship with someone 20+ years their senior, but there are ALWAYS exceptions, and I am one of them.
I believe I am an exception too. I'm in a successful age gap relationship and it's wonderful. I think the many life experiences I have had has really helped me to shape my personality and made me able to have such a healthy relationship. :)
I am 35 and my girlfriend is 22. Her last boyfriend was nearer her age - 24 (but he used to beat her up) I would never even raise my voice to her, left alone my hand. Whats the problem with age?
anything over ten years, in my eyes, is unacceptable. i mean yeah it all depends on if you love them and what not, but i'm twenty and i dont want an old man as a boyfriend. no saggy balls please. and no matter what age you are, dont date a minor unless you are one.
Sometimes it seems like that but I remind myself that my life is "Blessed Beyond Belief" - although I've had over 20 surgeries and so on, I am very blessed to have been raised by a good adoptive family & also be reuntied with my ENTIRE biological family :)
