You would never see this in the U.S. 95% of all rape charges are based soley on an accusation; then and only then does an investigation begin. There is no statute of limitations; a girl can go back as many years as she wants to and claim rape occured. At court all of the mans past sexual encounters can and will be brought into the trial and none of the womens can be. If she is under 18 and admits she lied; there are no legal reprucussions. Even this report is still a little bit anti-male biased; claiming that only between 3% and 9% of reported rapes are false*; also the way in which the boy's mother is portrayed as victim; no mention of his father, or much from the boy himself.

Another bit of bias was the way in which the director of FASO said "we are now starting to get a lot of people phoning us". 'People', not men!
