Great video, this is an excellent way to show the modes of vibration. Do you think you can provide the dimensions of the beam, and the material to simulate it in Solidworks and see how close are the results?. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

thank s mate! I just tested a beam, on youtube you can find many videos about vibrations of plates, they are really cool!

Wow, I have seen things like those wave nodes before (or imaged them), but that continuously changing slice in the middle was truly impressing!
Have you ever tested happens if the steel is in the form of a hollow circle instead? Like taking that plate and bending it end to end. Great video!
