Also, great job, seersound. It's always relieving to hear people who know how to use their synthesizers in creative ways--especially with such a nice synth.
Are you modulating the filter at various frequencies including audio frequencies while the filter is self oscillating and the rhythmic nature is caused by the thing modulating the filter getting modulated its self? It's the only way I can think to do it.
Do the OS and Voyager have the same synth circuitry but with a different control section? I mean can they make the same sounds?
@mentalooney Well I can't say exactly how this patch is routed, because obviously I didn't make it--but mostly you're right. LFOs are modulating the amount of FM in a lot of it, though, if I'm not mistaken, not just the filter, though similar effect can be achieved either way.
Also, the standard Voyager and the OS do have the same circuitry. The OS just doesn't have any digital control (touchpad/patch memory).
haha more or less something like that...i cant really remember...sometimes I need to start flipping switches and turning knobs like a wild man and then keep an ear out for something decent to tweak :)
edit: cant really access my old yt account so this is a new one...
How are you doing this?? I ran to my Voyager to add to my little library of strange "drums" and I for the life of me couldn't get the square LFO to modulate the gate. Help!!
Hi ! really great experimentations, did you use the VX-351 (at the first plan on the picture) for this set particularly ?
Thanx !

Always nice to hear the Minimoog being used in this way rather than the typical leads and bass. You got some nice modulation going here!
