My favorite piano composer, and he's so unknown, probably because he was a mid 19th century American. His music is way ahead of the 1800's--very modern sounding. Ms. Licad is excellent.

I am amazed. Today, is the first I have ever heard of Ms. Licad. Her music of this piece is flawless. I am a "mega" fan of Louis Moreau Gottschalk and true in previous messages Gottschalk is underappreciated and its hard to find musicians these days that quote great about him. In my opinion totally. This was performance was wonderful. Could some be of help in finding recordings of this pianist?

Wonderful performance, I have her Gottshalk album, it's weird because she usually plays the Latin American pieces poorly but she's awesome at his his spanish pieces such as this one.
