if you sweep the lip around the top edge towards the center with your spatula you will get a crisper smooth edge. Scraping it off only makes a jagged edge.
@xKellogsx thanks, i work with ice cream (melted vanilla ice cream) so it wouldn't be that simple to just turn the lip inwards with a scraper, i know that works with butter cream or royal icing. scraping the sides away is the cleanest way i know right now
