  • we lost my father in july 2010,this music was played on his arrival into and out of church for his funeral service,a lovely man, gone but never forgotten, such a poignant piece of music,

  • Demasiado talento, JS Bach no era de este planeta.

    Un regalo del cielo.

    Trascendente.

  • this is so beautiful, it is like the description in psalm 23

  • Moulto bella

  • Majestly beauty

  • Bach at his best !

  • me encanta el bajo continuo de Bach!

  • This must be the world's gentlest music. I've never heard it with words. If only sheep could safely graze, without being savagely slaughtered and turned into chops. It WILL happen eventually, and will be a great day, not only for gentle sheep and lambs, but a great day for mankind.

  • @katiegreenaway If we can come up with growing sheep muscle cells in vats to produce huge chunks, then that utopia could be realised!

The previous and only time I could have heard this with vocals must have been 13 years ago - but it was the version in the B flat scale and I think I heard it coming from a cafe in a large public garden location in Wales.

  • The creative genius and beauty of J. S. Bach is a gift to humanity through the ages.

  • @DrNSalmon i agree J.S. Bach really grabs at what the human soul needs, both in a cheerful, soothing way and dark, demonic tone. His music will live on.

  • This is a beautiful version. Thank you for posting it.

May I suggest one that may be even better ? - if anyone can post it, I'd love to hear it (my CD collection is temporarily gone).

The greatest version of this is by flutist James Galway with choral and symphonic accompaniment - on the CD "James Galway's A Christmas Carol". He's heard with the London Symphony Orchestra and the King's College Choir. You will find it to be beyond superb - it is ethereal.

  • One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.

  • pelzerflash,irishmama34,

In Corel Draw you can find some tools able to convert pictures into watercolors and other effects. I think you can do the same with a Photoshop.

Masterpiece. Listen also to the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields version with Sir Neville Marriner. No chorus. Masteripiece, masterpiece!

  • Beautiful music

  • Love this version and the pics. Thanks

  • Bach music is divine! Videos are superb! What is the software to make photos look like watercolors? Please tell me; I really would like to get this software.

  • Did you ever find out which software helps turn photos into watercolors? I'd like to find it, too.

  • Bach music is divine. Videos are superb! What software made the photos look like watercolor paintings? Please tell me. I want this software!

  • Who is performing this? It's not easy to find a choral version. Thanks, it's lovely.

  • Good pictures, I love the sheeps

  • Muito relaxante e calmo de se ver e ouvir!

Very relaxing and calm to see and hear!

    Parece uma oração!

    Seems like a prayer!
