I saw Matt Slick at a gym near where I live that I also go to called Genesis gym. He was heavilly flirting with one of the trainers there. He is married and he told the trainer he isn't. The next day I saw him at the gym again. I got there before him and he came in, flirted with the trainer again for nearly an hour and then left. He never touched any of the gym equipment unless you consider the trainer a piece of equipment. Naughty naughty Mr. Slick. You are a married man shame on you!!!!

Baptism is not required if it's by faith alone.

The thief on the cross didn't get baptized, people in the book of Acts received the Holy Spirit even before they where baptized. All what is required of us for salvation is to believe in Christ's death for our sins, burial and resurrection. Even then, that faith is God's gift, not ours, so we have nothing to boast of. Salvation is of the Lord.

@MichaelGabrielR Because of your definition of faith you have introduced a contradiction into scripture since the bible is clear that we need to repent and be baptized (Acts 2:38, Matthew 28:16 etc) What is faith? You seem to think that baptism is a work that man can boast about? Ridiculous. God is at work in baptism uniting the believer with Jesus (Gal 3:27) The plan of salvation is very simple and I dont know why everyone has a problem with baptism since it is was Jesus commanded us to do!

@MichaelGabrielR --"Sola Fide" is not in the bible, and yes, water baptism is the standard order for being saved. St Peter says it all: "Baptism now saves you".

"Bible" is not in the Bible either. Just because a word isn't in the Scriptures does not make it unbiblical.

If you go to CARM, on your left (under "Apologetics") you can click on Christianity -> Baptism. There you have all the articles with tons of Scriptural evidence about how baptism it's not necessary for salvation, including "Baptism and 1 Pet. 3:21", which you've mentioned. I have a feeling that you've ripped that verse out of it's context. That's how cults are funded.

In John 4, Jesus, the master soul winner, told the poor sinner woman at the well that if she knew who He was and asked Him, He would give her living water. No mention of the Law to her by Jesus but he instantly offered her salvation for a prayer. He brought out her sin only after establishing His Person and His mission. We can do the same; offer injstant salvation.

@Farennah 1. Yes, absolutely 2. Yes, acknowledge that you are a sinner to Jesus, and ask him for forgiveness of all your sins. Repent and follow Jesus. Have faith in Jesus' death on the cross to forgive your sins. Congrats you now have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Like any relationship it must grow for you to get the full amount of joy out of it. pick up a Bible, pray, join a good church that believes the Bible is 100% and that Jesus is the only way.

To be saved is by exercising faith. Following the bible. This man does not exercise his faith. He's not following Jesus Christ teaching. I've seen all his video's, and have read everything on his website. There is not one single thing on the Website or video's about Jesus teaching. They can't all be true because they contradict each other. Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Either it is true or not. If it is true then all the others are wrong. Just because some are false does not necessitate that all are. How do you know for sure the Bible isn't true?

If you have it is surprising for someone who has read it cover to cover to compare it to other religious books as it is nothing like them. Like no other religious book, it is a history book containing real events, with real people that really existed. Archeology has substantiated this.

What the Bible does teach is those people who would exploit or sexually molest others will have an eternal debt to pay for their sins against a holy and just God.
