I do know that STIHL has made huge strides in noise reduction and has a new Lithium Ion Blower that is coming out soon. I have tested it and it's amazing and extremly quite. Perfect for applications you are looking for.

piece of crap and is noise I do landscaping job on Palo Alto California and the laws there require less than 50db noise level and this one is 75db. I wonder when stihl will take seriously the laws to build a better machine with less noise. Mos t of the money are on wealthy areas and they are pretty picky about the noise so better stihl comes with something else or really someone will show a better machine and I have to say goodbey stihl.

So when is the Stihl BR 1000 V twin coming out? A two cylinder 4mix blower? That would have a nice sound to it lol.
