With all respect to Travis and his position, he doesn't seem like the most intelligent fan. Kuroda and Pineda were positive gains for sure, but without knowing how they will fsre against the Sox, Rays, and Jays, nobody can assert that they could be a 100 win team. Also, with Russell Martin being somewhat unpredictable, I dont think I wouldve traded Montero.

Even as a redsox fan i believe they should have kept francona even though the clubhouse collapsed with him in charge, but he was going through hard times. He was getting divorced, lived in a motel and he had knee problems and had to take pain pills.
