I was using my Sony DSC-H9 for my stop motion because it had a remote shutter (as to not move the camera)... Alas my house was broken in to and all my cameras and computers were stolen :-(

The Quickcam Pro 9000 you can get way above HD and it is a lot cheaper and in my opinion better.

@supernalyd3 I don't know about that software, just look at what it can do and google to see what others have to say. The camera I used I don't think works on a mac so I can't help you there.

I agree with you at the 3:oo mark. I actually use film myself. Now a days, someone buys a video camera, they automatically call themselves a film maker. Video is NOT film! Period. I dont care how people say video quality now is close to film. Truth is they dont know, because they never used it. Yes the video process is faster, but that does not make it better! Filmmakers use film, VIDEOmakers shouldnt call themselves "Film"makers. Thats like playing football with a basketball. it makes no sense!
