I have to disagree. Self deprecating humor can be really funny and Conan is the master of it. Check out some of his taped pieces on HULU. He's so sharp 'off the cuff' its ridiculous.

I actually got to meet him (and write a few jokes which they couldn't use) when he, along with the entire writing staff, were in LA for the Emmy's back in 06'. I couldn't have met a funnier, nicer, normal guy.
