I have seen close to 2,000 movies, and I must say, this is one of the most beautiful love stories and perhaps the MOST beautiful friendship story I have ever seen.
The acting is spot on.
As a former teacher who has worked with students who have this particular form of autism, I find Adam's character to be multidemensional and realistic: his mind is brilliantly interesting.
The movie works because it is totally believable that Beth would fall in love with Adam, and vice versa.
I just love this movie--Bringing awareness to Asperger's Syndrome so the world can understand without having to read a textbook is music to my ears! My son was diagnosed after first grade--He is extremely bright and quirky and our greatest wish is that he find happiness and love. I was laughing and in tears at the same time while watching this!
