  • His punches even though they are just demonstration, look so powerful, his arm just whips with his body behind it, it's the kind of punch that makes you ask for a minute to recover after receiving it.

  • @chinguidinsky actually its the kind that makes you say. " Fuck that! maybe if I play dead the sensei will leave me alone" xD

  • Do you know how ark wong knew jimmy h woo (chin sui dek) of kung fu san soo (tsoi li ho fut hung) there is photographic evidence that they knew each other from the 60's, also they came from roughly the same area in china, do you know any more to the story?.

  • old man can you teach me

  • What's the Chinese name for this style?

  • What schools in the midwest?

  • Does this style uses the five animal techniques (crane, snake, tiger, leopard, dragon)?

At 3:27, the master spreads his hands to the sides. Is that also a striking move?

  • It's called crane spreads its wings and does strike and can be interpreted as a block as well.

  • I studied the same style under Grandmaster David E Kash and I remember learning that there were I believe 4 maybe 5 Inheritors Grandmaster Seming Ma Grandmaster David E. Kash and afew others I forgot the names of the others need to look at my notes. these grandmasters are awsome thanks for posting this video very well done...

  • what kung fu style is this? i like how he blocks with one hand and attacks with another...

  • The style is Ng Ga Kuen which means 5 Family Fist. It is a southern Shaolin system composed of techniques from the 5 major southern family systems, Fut Gar, Hung Gar, Choy Gar, Lee Gar and Mok Gar. It is sometimes referred to as Fut-Hung-Choy-Lee-Mok. This style was brought to the United States by Grandmaster Ark Y. Wong in the 1920's but was only taught to Chinese until the late 1950's when GM Wong broke the race barrier and began teaching non-Chinese.

  • Iv studied this style for awhile under Grandmaster David E.Kash back in 2001

  • In the US the style was first referred to as the Shaolin 5 Animal style. This is because the 5 animals of Shaolin, Tiger, Leopard, Snake, Crane and Dragon. are very prominent in the techniques of the system. Today, the style is known as Ng Ga Kuen (pronounced Un Ga Koon). Schools of the style can be found mainly in Southern California (L.A., Oceanside, Alhambra)and Mexico with a few schools in the mid-west.

  • five stars

  • 5 stars!

  • This looks like a good style. Chinese martial arts has alot of forms and actual aplication of all the forms is not taught until years in the system. This is understandable as masters do not want to teach everyone their most brutal techniques, you gotta pay your dues first. People see Kung Fu as show because of all the forms involved. Those who stick around are rewarded greatly if they have a good teacher that trust them.

  • nice stuff here!

  • It's actually just a generic Asian tune from a royalty free collection called MotionLoops.

  • What is the song?
