@ufsantaris555 It's blood. And the blood is almost identical to human blood, otherwise Gaius wouldn't have needed a complicated computer program to find the difference. The Cylons are organic and are more like cyborgs, they have cells and DNA, obviously, cus Helo and Athena made a baby. It is suggested that their neural pathways are made of silicon though.

Cylons are kind of incompetent. Their space doctrine seems to consist entirely of 'have our huge carriers hang back and throw useless fighters at the enemy' and they don't seem to realize that a few copied battlestars tactical jumping into the middle of the fleet would solve all their problems. Make a dedicated pilot, or just upgrade the raider brains, and up the armor on the Centurions or give them riot-shields and then swap the arm-guns for an actual heavy machinegun/shotgun/rocketlaunc­her.

GOD they look so badass. And At KrionStudio- they were created by some dude, and then a personality was implemented into the cylon. Then it joined some weird religious cult that promised heaven in the form of a virtual world that this first cylon turned into a volcanic hell after somehow gaining control. And people who die and were transferred into this virtual world can be reanimated and transfer their info/personality into a human lookalike cylon or a full metallic armed for war cylon.

Somehow I never understand the suicide of Cavil - in Daybreak. In a way he was the last of his kind of the Skinjob Cylon for Dominance. Maybe he would be lynced or got a trail by cylons of the free will and just took care of himself. At least he could surrender. Still with the last fight-scene ... why a shoot out when you know you are mortal and there is no change of resurection and you are totally outnumbered on the bridge.

The reimagined Cylons were, how should I put this: LAME! Making them look human was a cheap and inexpensive way of getting around makiing a suit. Star Trek TOS had the same problem, but at least when it originally aired they didn't have the technology or buget to do it. Human Cylons? REALLY!

If there was a biography of Cylon seen and heard through it's eyes and ears then we would know their evil technologies and artistic styles of the robot building and vehicle structures. That means it's all about the Cylons and very little scenes of human activity.
