Right LA NOT SF my friend BILL KLINE was in NERVOUS GENDER for a while & if anybody out there knows him tell him to email bones find me at theinfamousbones on you tube or brotherbones13 there also-then U MUST ALL SUBSCRIBE!
hopefully somebody does a full length movie on ng, ala the germs. if anybody has anything on the band *overman* from the same time period, pleeze post!
To research NG's various lineups is to learn the history of LAs Punk and Deathrock Roots. These guys opened the US borders to Industrial along side Z'ev and NON. There will never be a phenomenon like em.
What do you mean opened up the borders? Monte Cazazza was from San Francisco. NON was one of the very first Industrial musicians, year one. Most of the influences for the genre were American, as well. The movement was international from the beginning, there was no one left in the dark. Even behind the iron curtain an analogous underground musical movement was happening.
Hahaha what i love about synth punk is that it can be as fucked up and weird as possible and still harness the punk attitude. pretty much sounds like a roudy group of atari geeks high on every known narcotic.
cool
