What a great photo from the 1972 CMA Awards. So sad that two of these ladies are now gone.

This was Loretta's BIG winning night when she became the first woman to ever win the "Entertainer Of The Year Award" from the CMA. She also won "Female Vocalist" and "Duo Of The Year" with Conway Twitty.

Dean had it right. This was the 1972 CMA Awards Show. From Left to Right Lynn Anderson, Dolly, Loretta,Dottie West, and Tammy. I have that performance on tape and hopefully this year God and the dollars willing, I will have a way to put it on my computer and here on youtube.
