  • love theh ladies at 2:33

  • RIP Kevin Gilbert.

  • Makes me feel like locking up my house, throwing the keys to my Banker and walking off into the desert with my bottle of Jim Beam........

  • Nifty, nifty, look who's 50. Happy Birthday, Sheryl. I'll be joining you in July (at 50, that is).

  • but now no joker.. no jack.. no king.. can take this losing hand, and make it win!

  • I cant remember the name of that actor that is in the video...the one driving the car. Anybody knows?

  • @etrusca777 peter berg

  • One of the greatest music vids in history, no doubt.

  • I like the song, but the tone of it feels completely at odds with the movie's tone. This song is played and produced like an overly commercial, feel-good song. The same can be said of the music video.

  • Pretty sure its about a bender

  • only 300 000 views? what's happening to people nowadays?

  • @hastadecirpalabra the buy cds...

  • @hastadecirpalabra

Too much bitches-hoes-gettin'paid-reppasentin'-whatever to listen to, I guess. I don't get it, but that's how it goes.

  • @emncaity you had to be there my friend

  • i love this song, love this video. wore out my old cassette playing it. <3

  • Are they fucking kidding? 30 seconds of sub-human GRUNTING from the idiot-clowns "Radioactive" at the beginning of this video!

    Just fucking DIE, Vevo!

  • The King could never die, he might get hit by a car but he'd still land with grace and style.

  • I look forward when I leave this ungrateful city for greener pastures.

  • awesome songwriter and voice of an angel

  • She's the female Bob Seger with The sound sof Tom Petty Mixed in

  • "I'm standing in the middle of the desert, waiting for my ship to come in."

One of the greatest lyrics ever written.

  • sheryl bangtidy crow think she should marry me and sing to me every night lol

  • heard this about 1000 times working in a supermarket ,, played over and over ,,the only song on that tape i can listen too is this ,,,

  • great song- great memories!!

  • Great songwriter :)

  • I love all this womens tunes! She's a real person who's mental lyrics are easily understood. Respect!

  • great tune, way under rated!

  • Love this...How in this world you gonna beat flying Elvis's

  • why would you wanna leave las vegas?

  • @Samm31393 shes tired of the madness. shes saying she wants some peace, something else better.

  • Dammit VEVO, at least learn a little about the people to which you're advertising. If we came to listen to Sheryl Crow, chances are we don't care about Lilplayy and won't buy the music no matter how much it is shoved in our faces.

I'm not being unreasonable, just a little customization is all I ask.

  • Its a GREAT SONG. Also love the Elvis' stepping in unison. Sheryl is a great entertainer.

  • @dano5860 She's like the kling klang king of the rim ram room

  • Its a GREAT SONG. Also love the Elvis' stepping in unison. Scheryl is a great entertainer.

  • why do you come to the artist to dog them its a good song

  • Love It !

  • Crashed my car in the middle of the desert in Australia (hit a kangaroo) while listening to this on cassette. And that was the beginning of a fucking mental story, but great fucking times. Any time i hear her sing it's the first thing i think about - sheryl Crow = kamakazee kangaroos

  • @brew667 this is so funny " the full quid "

  • @brew667 : This has to be the funniest story ever about this song! Man, it's my birthday and you just made my day ! Thanks !

  • @brew667 OMG... almost same here!!! back in the beguining of '96, in Queensland - heading to the great barrier reef... had to take bus, train, even rented a ute... quite an adventure....

  • @jtcanter Chances are we might have crossed paths! Went up along Gold Coast in around end of January '96. Still smile when i think back to those times, absolutely brilliant times. Met the best of people, still stay in contact with some now. Did'nt have a care in the world, just had to worry about getting few bob for a few beers and maybe getting in with a cute fox!! Those really were the days!!

  • My favorite Sheryl Crow song...

  • Was this actually filmed by Las vegas?

  • @TheRaydiation Some people make it too easy to troll..

  • @JazzyCatWinner So do you know the answer or not? and What troll comment could you possible say to my genuine question?

  • :)

  • i love her...

  • Good song for a road trip : )

  • She is always wonderful. I also love her mouth and her lips

  • putting Elvis impersonators in this video pretty much speaks more to how it/she (and the director David Hogan allowed the video this video to be) raping this song youtube.com/watch?v=hRGMEIX1a5Y . Yeah, she really had experience in Las Vegas with Elvis impersonators, lol. Yet "The Ballad of Jenny Ledge" is about THAT VERY THING (and how Kevin Gilbert's girlfriend left him for one in Las Vegas). Pretty much every live version of "The Ballad of Jenny Ledge" Kevin explains this fact.

  • @AllMediaReviewsBlog you're a moron. Sheryl Crow is one of the best singers/songwriters in a long time. writes plays and sings all her own music, and that's saying a LOT given the crap that gets put out this day and age. sounds like someone may be jealous. and this song is about her own personal experience with being a junkie, which she admittedly was for years. awesome to see someone kick that shit and become what she has. nowhere does the song mention Elvis, just there for the video, tool bag

  • @1977jnasty WRONG. Crow CLAIMED it was about HER experience on David Letterman in 1994. And was a LIE. just google it and you'll understand the truth, genius.

  • @AllMediaReviewsBlog apparently you are someone who believes everything they read on google articles, you clown. Claiming to be a junkie must have been the "in thing" to do back then right? Sheryl Crow and the rest of the music world must have missed when you were tracking and documenting her every move just so you could get on youtube years later and talk shit. get a life.

  • @1977jnasty uh, it was WELL CHRONICLED long before articles were accessed via Google. I only suggested Google that as a simple resource. For example, Joel Selvin wrote an article that was published in the San Francisco Chronicle in 1996 about it, lol.

  • @AllMediaReviewsBlog whatever wither way man. we all know there's no way someone at the San Francisco Chronicle could have published some bullshit, that NEVER happens in the media in this country. or trying to smear someone who made something of themselves. nope, that never happens. not trying to be an advocate here, but there's plenty of "articles" verifying what i'm saying too. truth may be somewhere in the middle. didn't make it big til later in her life, plausible she was a mess early on

  • @1977jnasty articles verifying what you are saying? where? got any links?

  • @AllMediaReviewsBlog you have any to back up what your saying? mine were all pre google, just like yours :P

  • @AllMediaReviewsBlog AWWWW YEAH

I totally came here to rot on her but you hit all my points already. Well done, well done.

KG is and always will be so much better than this 'artist'.

  • I would love to shoot my wad in that sexy mouth of hers.

  • THIS IS ONE OF HER BETTER SONGS, why does it only have like less then at least 1 Million Views.

PLUS THE VIDEO IS SO BRILLIANT, simple and genius.

People don't know good music these days man.

  • i like this song but wat is she talkin bout

  • go ride a horse bareback in the rain while listening to this song!

  • gotta go

  • I love this song!

  • Vegas was fun for a week. But in reality its a total shithole. I'd never want to live there.

  • 3:38

  • I so love Sheryl Crow she rocks

  • on iTunes and cdbaby-Just type in black pinoy-The New Single by Black Pinoy titled( I'M Here) speaks to the heart of a woman - And reminds the man not to forget your needs.. A powerful song with a message

  • love this song :)

  • i read once a long time ago that she was on lsd when they recorded this one

  • I had such a epic 4 days in Vegas I did not want to leave!

  • anyone else think this sounds oddly like don't come around here no more by tom petty or the joker by steve miller band?

  • one of her apsolutely best

  • Hey, VEVO, take a long walk off a short pier!!

  • i was about 7 years old when this came out, and i remember driving around in my mother's 1990 dodge caravan listening to this on the radio when it was in heavy rotation. oh the memories!

  • Dear VEVO

    FUCK YOU!!!!

    -sincerely cody

  • These adverts can get fucked!!! On a positive note, Sheryl Crowes a genius!

  • Can't believe this was nearly 18 years ago, so many memories.

  • The whole backbone of the song is the distinctive bass riff. Take that away and there's practically no song left.

  • someone misses the 80's? Well, this one came out about late 1993 if I do recall correctly.

  • woah all you people jerking off to this video are creepin me out...

  • I love the B%W of this video. Reminds me of Win Wender's film "Faraway, So Close"

  • I thought the general consensus was that we wanted VEVO to fuck off and die?

  • classic crow

  • Amazing song!

  • Brilliant

  • NO no no

  • i left las vegas after 8 years and dig the hell outta this song! p n nola

  • God I miss the 90's

  • Sheryl Crow is a consitently great songwriter whos is beautiful on the inside and out.

  • @clutch0311 I'm getting so I can spot the politically motivated hatred of pop stars a mile away. Retard States especially hate it when the pop stars were originally pushed as working class heroes.

"All I Wanna Do" is fine even with the William character, but all it takes is one "Leaving Las Vegas" & a cover of Elvis Costello's "What's So Funny 'bout Peace Love and Understanding" & suddenly she is Public Enemy #1

  • Combines so many fascinating things - Las Vegas, Sheryl Crow, and even "Flying Elvi"!!

  • KEVIN GILBERT - the real and only reason sheryl crow is "famous"

  • She is giving you a piece of old LV. The dealers use to clap hands as they left the tables to show they weren't palming. Elvis use to be everywhere (Flying Elvis's). This is '93. It is nothing like you see it now. It's all corporate. Even the dead hookers are coved up these days. -- Flamingo 'D Girls.

  • Crow is a nauseating Narcissistic killer. I hope the death of Kevin Gilbert haunts her every waking and sleeping moment. Say "Hi" to Lance for me... OH, wait, he saw how you are too!! Never mind.

  • I grew up in Las Vegas and when I left home for college in San Francisco I played this song. Hahaha.

    I left for good!

  • one of the best sheryl crow song, but the scene of elvis clones flying and landed posing with arms open and those wings, the weird cabaret girls, hey why dont they put it on another sequel of 'From Dusk till Dawn : Bloody Vegas' :P

  • @ahrimanism reasonable and wise comment

  • This is my favorite song, but man, this is the worst video ever haha.

  • great song !

  • I heard she had a big accident,, was that truth?

  • I don't know @factotum071 - I've seen lots of pretty mouths while canoeing through Georgia with Ned Beatty. I will now apologize to anyone who gets the reference...

  • I love Sheryl's wild windblown hair! She Rocks! ;P

  • She is a natural beauty.

  • Makes me want to go back to Las Vegas!

  • Love the way this video builds ups. Good song too.

  • Fit !

  • when i was little my mom would play this all the time and ill always love this song. she has a way of i guess expressing that emotion that is hard to express in a song

  • She's too sexy in this video. Hot lips!

  • whats up with the elveses?

  • very similar and talented like that of joan biez

  • When the video started I thought, yeah this is a bit dull. Then it steadily increased in awesomeness all the way.

  • this song reminds me of Dont Come around Here No More by tom petty...would be cool if some out there would mix the two songs...

  • omg this song makes me think of the good ol' 90s!

  • @kittyphilly1 couldn't have said it better myself!

  • Here's to Elvis, Wayne Newton, lights SO bright... & BlackJack on a Saturday night...

  • Is it all about MONEY Sheryl Crow?

  • Haha, I'm joyously moving out of Las Vegas next month and this has become my theme song!!

  • Probably her best song but is it the sound track of the movie? I cannot remember. I ll try to find out.

  • Her voice is awesome

  • such a great vocal performance - so unique!

  • In this video she has the sexiest lips and mouth i've ever seen

  • @factotum071 Gross lol

  • @noncon99 faggot

  • @Fritheby Actually since I am a woman the term that would be more appropriate would be dyke. The appropriate term for you would probably be jerk and/or loser :)

  • @noncon99 good for you faggot

  • @noncon99

    oh snap

  • @factotum071 yep...! her and Debby Harry were made for snoggin'!!

  • The showgirl at 3:38 , Stunning

  • all I ask is..in return...don't ask me to stop drinking....cause I don't want to hear know cliched 'oh wow now life is so much bettter and..,.and...12 step 'bromance is all that..,please...understand my beerdrunksoul...some drunk poet penned that...umm his name is...Matt Dillon...or Mike Dillon...besides you can't be alcoholic unless your DNA is tested...better than smoking crack

  • More ads+longer load times-more videos=VEVO

  • artfully done video to a very good song. I've always done her style.

  • Truly a great singer !

  • @JBDACB She was Glenn Frye's backup singer in the Eagles first.

  • She's beautiful then and now

  • @austindavis95 Yeah so beautiful, she stole Lance Armstrong from his wife after she went through several painful IVF treatments to give him two children after his testicles got cancer and they died, so his wife did the pain - then Sheryl came along with her hooch.

  • @Bubblebunny7 " she stole Lance Armstrong " - you mean Lance Armstrong didnt play a major part in leaving his wife ? WOW !

  • @Bubblebunny7

Um, I think Lance is the real hooch.

  • i bet he did

    ;)

    hahahha

  • Love Peter Berg's character in this. He looks like the skeeziest dude alive.

  • shes my favorite, always has been

  • yeahhh he did.. lol.

  • my dad dated her!!

  • no he didn't

  • I like her but the her videos are over-produced. I just want to see her.
