The Internet is being used to revolutionize societies. Tell your Congressman to rewrite the “Employee Freedom of Choice Act” so it uses the Internet to allow workers to request and conduct union votes DIRECTLY with the NLRB. Truly secret votes where employers can’t identify and fire organizers. Force employers to bargain with unions 30 days after a successful vote. Bring in an arbitrator 30 days later if no contract is in place. In 2012 VOTE for Obama, House & Senate majorities and pass it!
YouTube allows an upload to be used as a video comment on just a SINGLE posting. So please search YouTube for “Introduction to Teaching 101.mpeg”. Don’t know how much of my taxes are going to study public education, but Washington could save a LOT on consultant fees by just reading the responses to my above upload from hard pressed teachers from around the country. Teachers KNOW what is wrong with American education – career and politically motivated administrators do not.
Workers unite and Tea Party people either join us or get out of the way. Leave it to Wall Street to look after its own. Do not be used by the elite any more. Will Limbaugh, Beck, Hannatty, and these governors being taking a pay cut? That governor in New Jersey looks like he's eating enough for all of us.
Down with unions, they piss on the rest of us and do the governments dirty buisness to trap the rest of us. Now they know they are slaves and want the rest of us to save them. Screw the union and their spoilled children.
The American Way: "Let's promote teacher A to vice principal. She's shown tons of promise. She's hardworking, intelligent, good with the kids, and been highly successful as both a teacher and an administrator"
The Union Way: "Naw, teacher A has only been in the union for 5 years. We're gonna promote teacher B. She's an idiot, but she's been in the union for 20 years and has seniority"
.
Should sound familiar to some I'd think; if not, then you've not experienced it
@donnyforte2 Your socialist dogma is showing. If the rich do not invest. There will be no jobs! There is no incentive. But this is about union socialist greed at the taxpayers expense. That's why Walker was voted in.To stop the greed!
That's hilarious... to "stop" the greed... yeah, that's why he supports corporations so readily with tax breaks and willing to put the state in debt in the process... because he wants to reign in on "greed".
@donnyforte2 State worker in WI average around $60k plus 46% of that in benefits. The people will not accept that in this economy.Nor will Municiple bond holders.
@BeantownSpammer "It's about collective bargaining for benefits! "
This is based on the assumption that the working class has enough money for this to happen and are making more money than the top 2% of this country. 80% of all new wealth in this nation goes to that top %. It doesn't go to the worker. The wealthy own credit on future labor.
This is now about how we invest capital. And it shouldn't be with tax breaks to corporations. It should be for public interest, not personal.
@BeantownSpammer No, the wealthy are not in entitled (to more and more benefits). Now that your party is required to participate, and not just sit on their hands and filibuster--- it's going to be an interesting year :)

@BeantownSpammer No, actually unions are willing to take cuts.
"That's why Walker was voted in.To stop the greed!"
No, Walker was not voted in to kill the labor movement. That's why he got a surprise uproar.
