This does'nt prove the fake. However, it proves one thing : that you know how to make a fake of a supposed "fake". This sort of thing represents a major problem. People may take photos of something flying around up there, but due to image processing, and smart weirdos (like this guy, in his talented willingness to to debunk) plying with "intelligent machines", all these photos and vids cannot be forwarded as "proof". I guess we will have to find real ufo's, or aliens, anything from "out there" !

Whilst it doesn't prove that the video is fake, it does disprove all the people claiming it can't possibly be fake and is undeniably real. It could easily be fake and there is no evidence to support it being real at all. The original videos prove nothing at all either way, they might-as-well just not exist.

could you make one with just a backdrop of jerusalem at night and the lights entirely digital? might have a far better debunking effect. this doesnt really wow me having spent some time in cg. of course it is easy to get fast results for certain things, especially on things that take milliseconds, but the original is on a whole different level. youre featured on spiegel.de as evidence. thats why i'm being so picky ;D

@roMetallman ...and you are an idiot. If a real light shined above the city it would illuminate new objects and create new shadows on the ground. That doesn't happen in the UFO video. All that happens is objects already lit up get brighter, and no new shadows are created, just like a CGI light. A simple CGI light shouldn't be able to light up a city like a real light. This video proves and highlights that the original video used a CGI light, and was not a real light. Get a clue!

2D Lights shine the whole 2D picture-layer without the recognition of 3D objects like a real 3D Light would.

There are literally 100 ways to recreate the video's lighting effects, and in this video I show the most simple way in only a few minutes. I was not trying to recreate it. With a little more time, lets say an hour, I could do so much more and you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference.

@HOAXKiller1 : I work with 3D Animation programs (MAYA, Studio Max), as AE, Premiere, Auto CAD, etc,etc.

This is either a 3D Animation masked into a 2D Dynamic background layer, then of course taken into the 2D Editors for further edits, or it is completely Real, my friend.

3D creation of nearest objects to be linked to the UFO lights, Dome, walls, some point lights, etc and the UFO, then masked to the Dynamic back through Alpha channels.

Too much work to create all this to get just a few hits.

@OVNISHUNTER No it is not too much work... All they did was reflections on the dome. None of the lights on the ground are special in any way. All the lights and shadows on the ground already existed in the original RGB values of the video, they just increase the brightness, contrast, and added other filters (which is automatic for some lighting effects) and it created the effect of "lots of work" that you think it took. All of it is simple and FAKE. IT IS AN OBVIOUS FRAUD TO THOSE THAT KNOW.

O.k. now you have to do this again. You have to account for the reflection on the temple that moves with th object. I know the prgram you used and if you can do that with it I will believe you. That reflection doen't look generated. If it is it would be very hard to do. The flashes are easy to do but not sure about the reflection. If this video is a hoax someone put alot of time into it.

thanks for doing these videos. this is showing to people that do not know much about editing that this could very well and easily been done with a combined group of editing programs. it may have taken some time to edit the videos but look how much publicity it has gotten. well worth it. soon, more and more 'ufo' videos will start to pop up that are even better then this one with high quality.

AND the dark shape that moves in and out of shot near the end of the video at the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Nicely done. While the ability to recreate the illusion of something by other means is not, in itself, proof the original was fake, it does seriously cripple the credibility. As a CG person myself, who spends a lot of time in After Effects, and as someone who (like you) wants to believe there is life out there, but can't stand hoaxes in the meantime, I really appreciated your efforts here. Please, keep up the legit debunking. Maybe one day there will be one we can't dismiss.
