fear 1 ,Extraction point , mandate , fear 2 was awesome ... fear 3 is kinda like SHOOT kill shoot kill .. only 5% scary .. but still its a continuation of fear 2 .. so u need to buy it if you want to know what happened ... FEAR 3 really isn't that scary a game. The game mechanics are well-made but the campaign is too short. The plot also doesn't do anything particularly interesting. Just wraps up a couple loose ends from FEAR 2.

I just got done playing the current series straight through for the first time and honestly this was somewhat of let down, don't get me wrong it is quite visually impressive. However it doesn't feel like a survival horror and aside from gameplay style i'm not sure where to place it in genre. The whole transitioning from fighting psychically linked super soldiers & mechs then walking down some random bloodstained weird fuck shit happening hallway with some random flashback is just confusing.

I loved Fatal Frame/Project Zero, altho I dont think number 2 is too scary, PZ3 was scarier due to the lack of a weapon and having to hide etc. This is only £15 currently and im considering it, but I'm a wuss and usually dont play scary games unless someone sits in with me. From this footage, the first part seemed scary, then it seemed like an FPS with army guys and zombie type enemies that refuse to die. Is this game scary? =/

Wow FEAR got worse than better. FEAR 1 was great, it reminded me of Half Life and had great shooting mechanics and used health packs and armor instead regenerating health. FEAR 2 looked like a Halo clone that was way too over the top compared to FEAR 1. Looking at FEAR 3 it looks even worse than FEAR 2. Bottom line, FEAR 1 was amazing, 2 and 3 look like shit.
