There are several things I don't get about this movie- How did he get all these people to join his fight club and be able to control them? How did he fight himself? What what the chemical burns about? Where did the idea of the human fat to make dynamite come from? Why was Marlon totally cool at this end scene of the movie holding his hand?? @banandababa He got the people to join because they all shared a common interest. He preached to them and they followed him, they wanted to change stuff. He fought himself because he has multiple personality disorder. The chemical burns were a lesson in sacrifice. The idea probably came from the internet, or he picked it up somewhere without remembering. *Marla was cool because she trusted him. I'm sure in the aftermath she was rather shocked.
