  • Canadian Tire Auto Shop ? ? ? . . . . . I don't trust them anymore. . . . . have not been to any of their auto repair shop for 6 years....

  • Thanks very much. Maybe a follow up video at some point to show how it has held up?

    Cheers.

  • It held up pretty good, I would say still better than Krown or Rustcheck, and I have used both for many years in the past. However, I still believe that even this product has to be applied once a year to truly work, at least on the exposed parts of the vehicle. The inside panel/door areas are still real good and greasy, like you would expect. Hope this helps. Cheers.

  • Can you let us know how the Corrosion Free product has held up? Has it washed off the underside in the winter? Will you use it again (applied somewhere else of course)?

  • Crappy tire teenage mechanics doing a Crappy tire job.

  • I had the same issue, they did what was easy access, or areas seen by the customers.

  • Terrible job, I remember my buddy worked at Canadian Tire, I had a 91' Ram, about the same size as your truck. He'd absolutely coat the underneath of that truck, under the hood, door jambs, tailgate, you couldnt get out of the truck without getting grease on ya. It kept the rust off though, and he'd only charge the car undercoat price. Always good to know mechanics! Hope your next experience is better, maybe look Into Krown, I get that now, its damn expensive though.

  • Definitely. Also, everyone should know that they do not spray inside the doors and panels like most rust control places do. I like this product, but I have found other places in the area that spray it, and do a much better job of it than the Canadian Tire I went to. Cheers.

  • Thanks for the report. I will ask the Cdn. Tire in my area to allow me to see the work that has been done before they lower my vehicle off the lift.

  • Don't blame the product, It's fantastic! However, like anything else the dealer did a very, very poor job.

  • @MrZeus0070 I never did blame the product. If you watch the video again, I actually commend the product. Yes, the applicator (in this case Canadian Tire) did a very poor job. Thanks.
