@lombardi1230 Stefan Logan played in the CFL and now he's with Detroit doing kick returns, i think he's even returned one for a TD already. Chad Owens may or may not get a shot at the NFL, but he's really young....only time will tell. He's called the flyin' hawaiian for a reason!

@quincee33 Owens has played in the NFL. From 2005-2007, he played in 6 total games. during that time he moved in between the active roster and the practice squad, and he was cut a couple of times and re-signed. His career NFL return numbers: 9 punt returns for 56 yards.

After the show he put on in Toronto this year, he'll probably get another chance at the NFL.

@dontworryaboutmeok ya, every game he's breaking loose... he 's awesome in the CFL.......Cleo Lemon sucks as a QB for the Argos, but RB Corey Boyd and KR Chad Owens make up for it.....every time he touches the ball, something exciting happens...reminds me of Dante Hall of the Chiefs that year that he returned everything to the house.

@dontworryaboutmeok You're completely correct. It is worth noting for others who may not know that the best players in the CFL make low to mid six figures. Top QBs can approach half a million(Ricky Ray is reported to get that in edmonton and Burris in Calgary is well over 400k) and top players at other positions(like center Marwan Hage in Hamilton) approach about $200k, with a few maybe hitting a quarter million.

Owens probably made between 60-80k this year(figuring escalators, bonuses, etc).

UH played against the teams that have twice the college football funds they had and have better recruites.

Teams they played againts: USC, Georgia, Penn state, Boise State, Michigan Spartans, Norte Dame and other teams that are twice as fast and talented than they are and yet they were able to beat some of them.

This guy could not catch a buzz in a opium den when he was here in Jacksonville, Played like he was scared to death of NFL talent. He fumbled the ball the first time he touched it in a Jaguars uniform .

Yeaah, he was very disappointing in Jax. I remember JDR calling him the "flavor of the week" during training camp....he never did crap in the NFL though and fumbled on more than one occasion during his return attempts....the quickest way to the bench or out of the league is if a coach can't trust you to do your job.
