I was at the MSG show a month earlier when Elton performed I saw Her Standing ...with John Lennon, along with Lucy In The Sky & Whatever Gets You Through The Night.
Unfortunately that was the last time Lennon ever appeared in concert.

Just uploaded a video for "JOHN LENNON - ELTON JOHN - Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds", which also has "I Saw Here Standing There" live. It made it, and it has a few pictures of Elton and John Lennon performing together that night!

I was at the MSG show a month earlier when Elton performed I saw Her Standing ...with John Lennon, along with Lucy In The Sky & Whatever Gets You Through The Night.
Unfortunately that was the last time Lennon ever appeared in concert.
Have you been able to find clips from that performance?

That show and most of Elton's appearances on tv in the seventies are on bootleg DVD. There is a guy in Canada who has all of that.
