  • even 40 some years after he started his diaphragm's still worken, and his hair, "I hope" will never change. :)

  • 3:27-3:33 perfect

  • EYES THAT SHINE BURNING RED

DREAMS OF LED ZEPPELIN ALL TROUGH MY HEAD

  • 60-years old guys are still perfect.

    And sonny really rocks it.

  • Thanks...one the best recordings of this historic event I've seen...

  • They still the best band in this world..!

  • hey hey mamma.... he still got it

  • i understand plants voice might never be as it was back in the day, but for a 60 year old guy, this still sounds rediculous

  • This song actually sounds great on this lower key. It sounds heavier.

  • the only way that Robert could have possibly retain his vocals form all those years ago was to cut off his balls ,buts that is a little too extreme.Oh and by the way, great footage.

  • robert fucked his voice, thats what

  • Considering his age and past life experiences I think he's doing pretty well :)

  • his voice was shot in 1975 man, its not like it happened as he got older, he was still only young when his voice got fucked.

  • what are you talking about, have you seen the knebworth concert from the dvd? robert sounds fantastic and that's after 1975

  • Comment removed

  • @Defenderofmankind are you kidding? there was no way plant could sing anything like communication breakdown or black dog after 1971 like he originally could on record and live in the early years. knebworth was definitely a lot better than he had been previously, but that does not mean his voice was as good as it was less than a decade before hand.the voice he had from 72 onwards is a mere shadow compared to what he sounded like before that. he fucked his voice.

  • @Defenderofmankind yeah i'm pretty sure it gets stuffed around the 80's

  • Yeah, and people wonder where his voice started going in 73' but don't take into account that Zeppelin was vigorously touring and working from start up to 73'. Plant used his range A LOT and it roughened his voice, leading into Physical Graffiti. And then and later Plant made up for lost range with his cohesion and improvisation. I mean we can't expect a 60 year old man to be hitting high G notes here like back in the studio version of the song, especially after all the things Plant's done.

  • why did they tune down? can robert not sing the high notes anymore?

  • correct

  • He hasn't been able to in years, as far as I've seen.

  • Led Zeppelin are good, but Deep Purple are much better, Did u ever seen their concerts nowadays? FANTASTIC! Zeppelin's concerts in 70's were amazing, Today their concerts are just good, nothing more.

  • its gr8 dude but i'll still go for LED ZEPPELIN though

  • i would go zep any day but thats just me

  • they still got after 40 yeras

  • Jones Plant and Page ain't in their 20's anymore, when they wrote these songs they were young and wild. These guys are amazing musicians and with Jason the chemistry could come back. The music they've created in their 20's was amazing.Just think now in their 60's what they could do now if they put their minds together.Their ain't no need to try to sow their wild oats anymore, they already did with Bonzo. With Jason backing them maybe they can sow a whole new older and wiser crop of music for the road

  • Yeah me too! If you go back to '75 Earls Court they were 'playing' with the songs very much then. Live events are just that - LIVE and it's the whole experience you go for. If anybody wants to hear it exactly the same as on the record they can just stay at home and put the CD on!

  • Long live the mighty Led Zep!! Any doubters of any one of the original members should have their heads read. The greatest rock band of all time with out a dought. Page, plant, JPJ and bonham (snr or jnr) equals pure geneus!! Pray that one day they might reform and come out to the land of oz!!

  • jason bonham...really got it...he is good

  • @BOSTACHE After watching Jason play with UFO, I think he is better than his dad in some ways. He is an amazing drummer!

  • If zeppelin is gonna come out with new material that would be awsome but if Plants not on vocals then fucking listening to it

  • Still got it haha

  • It actually sounds awesome a full step lower, it sounds alot more mature and adds alot more "sexual power"

  • Led Zeppelin por siempre .

  • When are they gonna put out a high-quality dvd of this show? Well, they would make so much damn money.

  • Ahh, come on put your camerphones way and enjoy the show! Nowadays everyone's a shutterbug.

  • ahhhhhhhh they still got it :)

  • cool

  • OH SHUT UP WYLDEFREHLEY

  • LOL? Zeppelin were 100x better live. I prefer listening to their live stuff way more than studio stuff. In fact, I find studio stuff boring when they're compared.

  • I don't know what you mean. Zeppelin was a studio band. Even though the energy was electric with them live, their studio recordings are gems that must not be allowed to be forgotten. To each his own I guess.

  • How was Zeppelin a studio band? I believe JPJ even said that their studio stuff are merely blueprints or a foundation to build upon on when playing live. Jimmy Page always strived to get the "live" sound.

  • No, no. John Paul Jones said that all of their studio albums were basically branches sprouting from the first one. As far as Jimmy going for a live sound, I suppose you are referring to his microphoning techniques because the great Jimmy Page himself said that his vocation was in building multiple layers of guitar voicings and as THE guitarist in Zeppelin that could only be achieved in the studio.

  • Dude, there's no written in stone way to perform any Led Zeppelin song. They just set the basics down for the song and then play it a little differently every time. That's how it works. When they recorded Black Dog for the studio version, they played it a certain way and played it a little differently every time they played it live. It just sounds different live because, you're really used to hearing the studio version, which again is just one way to play it. I'm used to hearing live Zeppelin

  • wow what kind of retarded half ass comment is this?? this show was fucking awesome for a bunch of 60yr old musicans that havent played together like this in over 25yrs..

  • jason finds it around halfway through here

  • I can't help but think they went with Jason just cause of the name. Hasn't got the right foot for Zep stuff. LOL at what you can see of the crowd, well, their cameraphones.

  • wrong.. Bonzo taught Jason.. hes the only drummer next to bonzo who knows the music well enough to be a close replacement.. sure most ppl can see it your way and if i wasnt an educated drummer id totally agree..but nope your wrong buddy.

  • Jason plays perfectly (:
